>they don't work as hard as I do
>even if they do or work even harder they're probably not as smart as me though
NAYRT but for someone that's supposedly extremely smart your conversational and interpersonal relation skills need some work, and I don't mean that in a bad way.
Beyond moving the goalposts like you just have (and you made it pretty clear your initial argument was that women don't work as hard as you, not that they aren't as smart as you) surely you must realize that statistically speaking what you've said is bullshit. Yes, men lead in every field but by the same token we're also the worst in every field, we are nature's way of experimenting.
Also to touch on what I said at the start, because I see a lot of myself in you, make sure you branch out into other disciplines as well, you don't want to be an expert in one area and a retard in everything else, you'll hit a point of diminishing returns faster than you think, at least after your Masters if you plan on going for that and then a PhD.
>t. CS grad that coasted a bit but understands the value of hard work that his peers put in
Also the head of my CS department back at Stony Brook University was Jennifer Wong. She was tough as nails and has some amazing accomplishments, she also teaches the two most difficult classes in the curriculum for us over there. Learning under her finally proved to me that the rules you have for the sexes, and I used to have, are more like "majority occurrences" rather than a law of people.
I hope this helps.

That's very sweet, anon. The only gift I'm treating myself to this year is the gift of saving money for when I'm happier, but I'll allow myself a piece of chocolate because your post made me smile

Thank you so much, anon! I'm a little unsure because pink doesn't suit me well but I'm so desperate that I'll probably buy this one over the weekend. Even if I buy it, I will keep searching for my preferred colourway! Anyone who sees it, please let me know

Thanks anon! I used to be in therapy for depression as a shitty teen and I eventually got past it, but I guess these feelings are warning sign. I hadn't even thought of that until right now. Going to try to find a therapist this week before it gets worse. Genuinely, thank you very much.

Thank you all very much. I'm sorry for freaking out so embarrassingly, I was really upset when I found out and posted literally ten minutes after. I've spent all day coming to terms with the situation, and I feel much calmer now. Regardless, you all have given me some very valuable advice that I'm saving in a Google Doc to think about (and discuss with my boyfriend) over the next few weeks. I genuinely appreciate you all, and while I'm not sure what I'm doing yet, I want you to know that I'm not going to make any impulse decisions.

Also, special thanks to >>9810824, this is probably the most thoughtful and sensible response an irrational post like mine could recieve, and was a lot more than it deserved. You are a lovely person and I appreciate the hell out of you.

No. I'm 24, and my boyfriend isn't going to be a super special doctor. Just an average one. He's not going to be particularly rich either, we're not in America. Also I prefer to buy my own things. But I can see why you thought it might be her, my post was very childish.
