/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

Alright this looks like a good place to ask.
Pardon if I screw something up, this is my first time on /cgl/ and attempting cosplay.
So last night on HSG i asked about doing GT Jade or 3am Jade. They said to make it like they were alchemized together, so i came up with this.
So would I be able to remove the glowing mechanism thing off the stick figure costume with it still working?
I have basic sewing experience and I know a friend who's pretty good at it that'd help me.
Also I included a pic because I see these really nice cosplays but the face kills it. So if I don't really match a good Jade, who else would I be able to work? I wouldn't mind trying to do a troll.
So... yeah. Any pointers?
