I think the first time I saw anything lolita related was when I got to know about Malice Mizer and Moi Dix Moi. I think I saw a picture of Mana from a GLB scan, posing for Moitie. It was somewhere in the beginning of 2005 and that's how I got in touch with lolita. I can remember browsing the BTSSB website, looking at all the pretty dresses I would have loved to buy. But as a 13 year old it was impossible because it was either too expensive, and buying from Japanese sites wasn't as easy as it is nowadays.

My first 'frilly' dress was something by the brand Queen of Darkness or Hell Bunny or something. I later found out it was a replica-ish thing from something by Bodyline but hey. I was 13/14 and finally had 'my first lolita dress!!!'
I wish I still had pictures, since I coorded the dress horribly now that I think of it. I didn't had any accessories and Mary Jane-ish shoes where too expensive for me.

After that, I gave up on lolita for a long while but now I'm starting to love it once again. Maybe it's because as a 13 year old I never had the chance to buy and wear the dresses I wanted, that I'm now spending money on lolita. Honestly, I don't really mind if I'll never be able to wear a dress to a meetup or anything. The feeling of nostalgia in owning a dress is more important to me. And well, I love fashion, not just lolita, so some clothing items hold a big emotional value to me haha.

I don't have much pic's of my closet but here is one of my oldest items. I like the old AP tag and the build-in petticoat the JSK has.
