I think I'm going to get a lot of girls that want to explain how their taobao dress that they've owned for a few months and worn a couple of times don't have the printed bits flaking off. That's okay, I own one of those too.

This dress is from Inori. I think I've owned it a year. Been through the wash about 6+ times. I thought it was great and holding up well, inspected it when it had been worn 2, 3 times and was ready to embrace taobao brands in general. Then I wore it two or three more times and changed my mind.

You can see the white spots again at the side seams and along the princess seams. This is an older dress, and it held up well for a year. Then the white spots start appearing.

Maybe yours just hasn't appeared yet. Maybe they will later, maybe they won't. I just haven't had a single taobao dress that doesn't show some quality issues after a few years and some washes. I'm certainly waiting to see if the To Alice dress starts showing white spots another year down the track and needs to be thrown out instead of simply sold on.
