For you, your face is really interesting. I think for extravagance your selections of Thumbelina and Neo Queen would be great. If you want something else with a lot of extravagance to it, try any of the Disney Princess dresses. Belle especially.

i'm in the artist alley, so quite a bit! i want to do at least 4 new prints and that'll be probably one a week, with some new buttons to design in there too. and then i have to physically make all the buttons and print everything out. cosplay stuff i'm not too worried about since i'm re-wearing a lot.

Thank-you! It was really hard to see and I ended up bumping into a lot of people if I didn't have a guide with me, so I would have made the mouth out of a different fabric if I could but overall I think it turned out well.

Yeah, the only thing Con-G lacked, now that I think about it, was photoshoot locations. There weren't a lot of large windowed areas except the space taken up by the Doctor Who lounge. Hopefully next year that space gets freed up.

There were a lot of novice awards, I wasn't expecting there to be that many! I don't think they were expecting many entries in divisions other than novice/journeyman so when they got more than one master and a bunch of artisans they were surprised. Still, happy I got one.

It's usually in Peter Clark Hall, which is basically the basement of the University Centre. It's all about gaming, no cosplay, no panels, no events. I don't think it would get a huge influx of new members with Con-G ending since it's already 25 years old. Maybe the awareness will be up, but they just do not offer the same experience.

I don't think it will disappear for good, but I do agree that the staff need to get their lives back before they can attempt another con. Con-G has been amazing to watch grow in these five years, and it will be missed by the local community. But they are people too and it's their choice.
