What Monty Python skit convention do you go to where people are destroying the landscape and getting maimed from cosplays?

There's nothing magic about being asian that makes you age slower. It's all diet and lifestyle.

Here's a video of her though, if you prefer.

Rule #1 of bringing props to conventions: "fuck the police".

Seriously. The rules they institute are stupid, serve no purpose and protect no one. At one point BlizzCon's rules stated you could only bring INFLATABLE props. I kid you not. Convention authorities are just trying not to get sewed and try to put the burden on the attendee. This is why I always carry a tiny pair of scissors whenever a voluntee at AX feels like putting a brightly-colored ziptie on my prop. "Oops, I didn't realize I needed to go to the peace-bonding station, thank you so much. I'll be sure and not remove this stupid thing the moment you leave from view."

I've never known anyone to ever get kicked out of a convention for bringing a prop made from an allegedly "wrong" material. And I've been ignoring such rules since forever with zero consequences. Everyone should do the same.

The #1 cause of aging, other than aging itself, is sun exposure. This especially goes for caucasians since we don't have much melanin in our skin to protect us from it. Be sure to use a sunblock with UVA protection with at least SPF 50 every time you go outdoors and reapply every 2 hours.

Other than that, you should do the following:

*moisturize daily with a moisturizer that contains vitamins A, C and E. Topical absorption of these vitamins helps prevent sunspot, makes skin softer, and helps prevent wrinkles. Moisture also hydrates skin and makes it appear more youthful. Moisturize twice a day: when you get up in the morning and after you take a shower when your natural oils have been stripped.

*Use a derma roller daily. A small medical device that you roll over your skin which punctures microscopic holes in your skin and promotes natural collagen production. Collagen is what gives skin its youth and elasticity.

*Change your diet to eat healthy. Foods rich in antioxidants such as green tea, walnuts, brightly colored fruits, and green vegetables help free radicals in your blood and reduce the signs of aging. Avoid foods rich in saturated fats. Also drink lots of water.

All of this should be done with discipline as any appreciable effects won't happen without a long-term basis. Retaining youth is possible with skill and care. Pic related. This woman leads a lifestyle doing all of the above and she is 43 years old.

They have the right to cosplay. Just as others have the right to laugh at them for it.

I don't think your con is going to outlaw a small metal wire. The "live steel" policy is referring more to steel weapons and such.

Unlike most cosplayers, she's just as hot out of costume and without photoshop.

Cosplaying usually involves some sort of theme or character. Taking random pictures to fish for compliments on your facebook is only one small part of it.

Bone structures do not look fat. If you look fat it is because of fat. And a woman does not inquire on how to lose hip mass if it was just her bones.

>Why do people like you hate fat people so much?
Because fat people become fat through sloth and weakness. It's their own fault and it's shameful.

And "big hips" or "curvy" or whatever is just another way of saying Fat. Fat people love to think up creative ways to make their fat sound more flattering or that they aren't really fat.

You honestly expect someone to approach you at a con and say "excuse me miss, but that piece of jewelry your wearing isn't appropriate to your character. I'm highly offended"? Of course not. But that doesn't mean it isn't a glaring inaccuracy. And even if people aren't like me and have a conscious annoyance by it, it will still make your costume look that much lamer.

Again, you can make up any excuse you want for having some superstitious need to wear your rings during cosplay. Maybe you feel your marriage will crumble or the spirit of your dead brother will fade to the after life. But that doesn't stop it from looking bad.

Did I mention that it looks bad? That's really the bottom line here.
