it's probably photoshop 99% of the time. there are scleral lenses you can get for a few hundred dollars but obviously that's not a viable option for everyone.

october mcm and hyper japan were my first con experiences so i don't have anything to compare them to, though hj was pretty lacking next to mcm. both were good for meetups though so whatever.
