It would certainly appear that way

Even the Homestuckers were remarkably well-behaved from what I experienced

I'm sorry, mang. We really tried to make an effort to pose every time we were asked, but today especially, we missed a bunch of the stuff we had planned because we couldn't get anywhere on time.

Closing Ceremony's count was at about 9600 attendees this time around, which blew away the previous record set in january.

Anyone get any pics of the Heavy & Medic from TF2? We got stopped every 10 feet or so asking to pose, so I gotta hope someone reads this :P

There's actually a panel going on this morning at 9:30 about what it takes to be a staff member and how to apply. I'll be there to take a look myself. Sounded interesting

I remember that yutz!

Half the crowd around him was yelling at him to get down.

The other half was yelling to do a flip on the way down

>Free Greek Festival Admission with SacAnime Badge
>This Summer, SacAnime is sharing the convention center with the 50th Annual Sacramento Greek Festival. While your SacAnime registration badge will permit you to visit the festival area, please be courteous to their attendees and staff by not congregating in their space and by using exterior walkways when traveling between the Convention Center and the Sheraton Grande or Hyatt hotels.

Sweet Jesus, yes....

So, got a question about my day-1 costume and I guess here's as good a place to ask as any

Ralph usually goes around in bare feet which, of course, is a bad idea in downtown Sacramento. I was originally thinking of just grabbing some flip-flops on the cheap to kick off for photo shoots, but I'm quickly learning that size 16 Flip-Flops are either nonexistant or will cost about the same as a regular pair of shoes, which I can't afford at the moment.

Anyone have any compromises to toss into the think tank?

also forgot, of course, that if I do have a few and I'd gotten a ride in the morning instead of taking public transport, I'd really rather not have to pay for a cab ride all the way down to Elk Grove and I'm not trying to drive home. I can't afford THAT ticket.

Yeah, I get that, but my original plan was to drive to the light rail station down on Meadowview, take the train up to the Con with my bro (Age 17, so no bar hopping), then grab the train back down to get my car.

Problems with this plan are:
>If I leave my car at the train station and I end up staying out after like 10:00pm, the trains won't be running anymore, so bigass cab fare + whatever extra parking fees would slap my ass for leaving it there after closing time.
>I could just get a ride to the con itself from my folks with my brother, but then I'd also have to ask them to come get him when it was time to go a-drinkin' and then come all the way back when it was time to scoop my inebriated, Wreck-It Ralph-lookin ass up at the end of the night. Really not a conversation I'm keen on having...

I'll see what I can do. A lot is going to depend on whether or not I can find a ride and/or parking that late.

Don't think so. The site says Saturday night only

>> No.7033912 [View]

Saturday Night is also the Masquerade, which I'll be in, so I'll try to work around that.

If it happens Friday, I'll be in my Wreck-It Ralph. If Saturday, then I'll be the Heavy

Sounds like a damn good time, but Since I'll be taking the lightrail to the con to avoid paying ridiculous parking fees, I'll have to catch the last one at about 10 or so. I'll stick around long as I can, tho. Should be fun
