Do any of you homosexual con-goers ever get hated on/harassed at cons? (Male or female) I've always wondered if anything ever happens from all the PDGay(I'M SO CLEVER!) you see? I mean, I know fangirls go apeshit for two dudes making out and creepers whip out their "whackin-it" cameras if two chicks do, but are there ever any truly negative outcomes? Anyone ever call you names or anything along those lines?
I've always figured most people that go to anime/video game cons are pretty progressive and un-phased by that kinda stuff, but then again I've heard some truly shocking stories, so you never know.

I don't leave any of my shit unattended ever at cons unless someone I know and trust is watching it for me.

I met PikminLink once. She was friendly and really sweet. Is she just like the nicest cosplayer ever or what? Not to mention adorable.

Also met Eurobeatking too. He's really aloof and barely said anything to me, but probably because I wasn't a girl. Creep.

I've asked my boss and he just told me "you don't want to know." I'm sure things will be fixed soon, though.

Also, people who bathe regularly, are punctual and respect the rules are also a must. I'm not inviting you on until we've had an extensive 1 on 1 talk, in person if possible. (Public place, you can bring a friend if you're nervous about meeting some stranger, but I'm not gonna murder you.) If not, over the phone at the least.
Speaking of, no phone, no position. Sorry, but phones are important. We do a lot of communication.

Okay, so here's the skinny bay area seagulls, I'm one of the shift leads for Fanime arcade. (In the game room. Little table at the back that's in charge of arcade games.) Now, I'm tasked with finding staff to add to our roster. We've got a lot of open space, so I can bring in quite a few people.
HOWEVER, I'm not just going to start bringing in people all willy nilly. First and foremost, you have to be 18+. It's a MASSIVE pain to bring in minors, so if you're underage, (gtfo 4chan, 18+ only) no go. Also, we're looking for INTELLIGENT, MATURE, RESPONSIBLE AND FRIENDLY PEOPLE. If you aren't all of these things, give up now. You deal with the public a lot and we are responsible for keeping them happy. If you fail to do so, it not only makes me look bad, but can potentially get you and I in a lot of trouble.
