Long story, I have taken so many photos and videos but I never have the time to post them. It would take me at least one year to upload and organize all the videos and photos I've taken into one central database, cloud or whatever.

Worse, 4chan's post speed changes through out the years makes my image upload speed slower. In the past, I could post image after images manually, at most 5 images per minute. Now you can post only one image or even one text post per minute.

This is compounded by the fact that I have to support my parents financially with my own income for the past three years. It seems I never have the time, money, or energy to do what I want.

I really want to make movies out of my footage, as a documentary of sorts of each year I attend these conventions. But that takes time, money, and energy, all three I've been lacking for years now.

This marks the first time I've ever seen people cosplay as the flight attendants from the movie. All they need is a Leeloo and a Korben Dallas in the group and it would be perfect.

I did. It's a good place to gamble. Plenty of slots but there is a dedicated for table games. I'm planning to visit again next weekend.

Convention staff allowed a LoveLive performance dance on Sunday afternoon at the fountains and allowed a dance on Saturday night in a area where there was no major traffic.

Having a dance at 7pm where the Gaylord Fountains start their performances is stupid. You're going to have the fountain music playing delying the actual start of the dance performance.

I'm surprised that you have not attended MAGFest until now. Seen you time after time in Katsucon.

I saw you in Otakon in that mini-photoshoot. I was the person dressed as Rick Sanchez.

You should have seen the writing on the sides and backs of the computer monitors: "Goodbye Baltimore, hello DC traffic"

I've been attending Otakon for the past 10 years in Baltimore. I've documented the convention in photo and video for the past ten years and a lot of change has occurred during that time frame. But this change is something we have all seen coming. I see the move from Baltimore as a end to an era. I will definitely miss Baltimore as part of the convention scene.

I finally got to meet bane at the cgl meetup on Saturday and got to talk with a few people at the same meetup on Friday and saturday. I ended up staying until 11pm eating dinner at the bar with them.

I've been attending Otakon since 2007 as a one day stand. That, along with Katsucon 2007 was what led me to attend anime conventions as a cosplay hall photographer, and later as a cosplaying hall photographer when I started cosplaying, for the past 10 years. I've photographed and videographed the cosplayers, the random events, atmosphere, and the panels for that time. We all knew that nothing will last forever. I'm going to treat this year as any other year, knowing that it will be Otakon's swan song in Baltimore.

Most of the time, I just saved the ones I had on my Firefox tab to read later, but often times I don't read most of them unless it's something of interest to me.

Why is it that I'm the only person who has archives of cgl from 2008 to 2012?

I know too much about the old /cgl/.

I actually posted the wrong link and wrong tripcode for the previous post. Browser does not remember old names and codes before posting anymore.

The hotel was double/trippled booked with a professional conference and the National Model UN conference during the weekend. Most of the attendees enjoyed the costumes though.

I'm particularly shocked that Anime Parliament was canceled at the last minute.

>Did 4chan get you into lolita/cosplay
I knew about cosplay before /cgl/. My one-day stand in Katsucon in 2007 was the start of my hall cosplay photography.
It eventually led to me starting cosplaying in AnimeUSA 2007.

>Did it help you improve of hinder you?
Since most of my posts were about pictures or the con-scene, and not about costumes, neither. But it does gave me a lot of ideas of future cosplay or information
about the con-scene that are useful in my travels.

>Do you think you would have been better off without it
It's difficult to say. If there was a forum to post cosplay photographs easier, I would have came to that forum.

>how many times have you been posted (not self posted)
I originally posted on /cgl/ as Anonymous of College Park, MD where I posted a lot. Still most of my post consists of photos, even though
I do not post much.

>How did you come across /cgl/ to begin with.
When I noticed 4chan had a cosplay board. I initially came to save threads and collect pictures.

>How are you surviving your first birthday without moot?
