fuck this noise. I hate this.

Like when people complain about their parents or family or school. I don't care what your problems are and it's not cosplay related so get it off the group page. Or people who announce that they can't go to the con this year so people will say that they'll be missed even though no one knows/cares who they are.

I mean this in a lot of ways. I'm tired of the basic Vocaloids. Like the earlier anon said, there are a ton of vocaloids to choose from. And how many outfits does Miku alone have? Also Hetalia. You have the entirety of history to play from and everyone chooses the basic boring outfit.

And eeveelutions. Aren't there around 700 Pokemon these days? There needs to be way more variety than just the eevees. I don't care how elaborate they are, I'm tired of seeing them.

MLP needs to stop as well. The fact that it's still going amazes and disgusts me.

I think all of my cosplays had a known source material. But I did cosplay from a game I haven't played (only watched) to humor a group for a friend. I didn't enjoy it too much though, and it felt like a huge waste of money.

I think the only time I wouldn't watch an entire series is if it was like 500 episodes long. I'd find the story arc with my character in it and watch that, and maybe browse forums to pick up on what happened prior and after.

When a person cosplays something without knowing the source material, it makes them seem like they're just in it for attention. And it really sucks if you get hyped for their cosplay and want to talk to them about the show, because you think you've found another fan, but they really don't know anything. Icing on the cake is when they're rude to you because they think you're testing them when you're just asking them what they're favorite episode was.

I actually really enjoyed this. I definitely felt the awkwardness and weirdness of it all, but she was charming and tried to give the story from all the angles. Thank goodness the people she talked to were the least horrible of the furries.

What I want to know is how these people even put this costume on.

I work as a cashier making $15 per hour, at least 20 hours each week but I can get scheduled for 40. I just finished up with school for a while so my availability will open up like crazy. Work is excellent with giving me time to finish school and go to conventions.
