I'm getting really sick of everyone defending their gay pairings like they defend gay rights. And if you don't like the same pairings they do (god forbid) they call you homophobic or oppressive or something like that.

I always end up laughing or cringing when she shows up on my feed. Sorry, "he". He is every kind of special snowflake. If I remember right, he was going to change his name to Sabastian Talent Young or something like that.

I have a friend who insisted she was a sociopath because she had two traits out of twenty on some website. I don't know if she thinks that way anymore, but it made me writhe every time she said she had to play "Naughty Bear" to quell her urges to act out against people.

I follow both of these blogs. partly because sometimes they have cute stuff, but mostly to see what weird "kins" people identify as. the "fiction kins" and "glitch kins" always make me laugh.

Every time I scroll through the Kumoricon facebook page I die a little inside.

I wear my Space Dandy jacket all the time.

It's fleecy as fuck.

Mine is when people are only in a fandom for the shipping value.

I cant tell you how many times I would talk to fellow cosplayers about the show or something and they'd only have comments about their yaoi ships or head canons. Even in shows like Superjail, 95% of the people who came up to me or took my picture liked the show because the Warden is shipped with the Once-ler. I mean come on.

With the way my face is, I feel like i only look good when I'm either not smiling or smiling with my teeth showing. otherwise i look like the damn joker or something.

But my teeth aren't very white, and since my front tooth is fake, i cant whiten my teeth unless i want to replace my entire tooth (caps dont whiten). so...butts.

Man, just when I think I'm done cosplaying France I always see these wonderful France cosplays and it makes me want to bring him out again.

But a part of me realizes how shit my cosplay is compared to these ones. I need to step up my France game big time. Maybe I'll work on him in secret and break him out again brand-spankin-new next year or something.

I feel you on this one. Half of the cosplay community sees cosplay as a craft, and the other half sees cosplay as just a hobby. The two seldom see eye to eye. The "craft" people are way more elitist and snobby but the "hobby" people can be pretty dumb and selfish as well, often demanding the same amount of respect as the craft people.

How hot is it supposed to be this year? Some people look like they're going to be layered up pretty well.

I've been scrolling through the Facebook page and when people aren't talking about their Levi cosplays they're talking about some surprisingly elaborate costumes. It looks like one guy is even going for Kotetsu's super suit? And there are also people who have chain mail and pretty thick looking capes for their costumes too.
