So what you're mentioning is a sweetheart neckline which is the most common in the original suits


I've attempted and made a suit before with moderate success so

A good quality matte satin or even sateen works best since it gives a nice sheen to it but also anything with out a stretch is good!

Which style of suit do you like the most?
Traditional suits are a high thigh top with a sweetheart neckline which is the most flattering for all body types. I find if you do lower it makes your legs look a lot stumpier.

Always stockings, always a heel about 3' no more , always try to match your heel to your suit and same to ears, and bowtie.

Also if you're getting/making a custom suit then you have no need for the thigh ties in the first place. Even if you add them for aesthetic reasons it is quite distracting for the most part in the total ensemble.
Dont be afraid to go a bit smaller in the waist! even if it is an inch it provides such a nice addition to the hourglass silhouette!

Colossalcon was hit for me this year and I actually didnt get to the convention? I really felt like it wasn't necessary to be honest I still had a fantastic time with out it. The baby Tigers were also a plus I guess ahahha.
