Motherfucker, where were they selling that?

Was it from that same booth that sold P1 CE?

I double checked on the whole info. I'd like to correct my statement earlier

Turns out the whole case is still ongoing, so cops asking fb for chatlogs make sense.

Who wanted a sequel? it was a meme doujin.

It was hilarious but barely fapworthy

Im 50/50 about ALA, unless you're in a cos group or you're invited to a party, shit's boring.

It limits discussion though.

This is a surprise, I thought they dropped whatever suit was filed by A.H., I wonder what brought the whole investigation back.

This went below the radar

Shit blew up with that one guy who did facetaping though. Fucking Asian cosplayers crawled out of the woodwork to condemn that guy

>replace it with Homestuck

For 3-4 years, half of every con was Homestuck.

Just intent, really. The whole case is even more clear cut now considering the fact that there's actually a precedent for it.

What's okay
>Pion Kim darkening her skin to match Sombra's skin tone for the sake of accuracy

What's not okay
>Chinese Onmyoji cosplayers tanning themselves dark to emulate low quality summons to Africans. the crappier summon, the darker the skin

The latter shows clear racial intent, the former does not.

I went to AX 3 times without a hotel, spent 2 of it sleeping on the streets (donut shop, Laundromat, priest's house) and the 3rd being awake the entire 4 days (it was a year where AX and X-games were happening at the same time, energy drinks at every block) but desu, I've never had it this bad

My condolences, senpai

I'd say next time go for a hotel but considering how next year's AX is gonna start on July 4, the hotel costs are probably gonna end up increasing.

>start from small conventions. Small conventions are relaxed enough that you can meet people without being strung up from busy schedules and adrenaline.

I'd think the opposite, since if we take small cons like ALA and Fanime are party cons, you only get to make the most out of it if you already know people that would invite you to parties.

AX is actually ideal mainly because of its biggest con, the line. When you go on a line for an autograph of someone or an anime screening, you're basically with groups of people you can easily relate with since they're there for the same person you're there for, you have a talking point to spice things up to whoever you're in line with. AX is best since a lot of people who go there are newcomers who go to AX for a taste of what it's like to go to an anime con in the US.

That said, I guess I'm just lucky when it comes to people. One of the first good friends I made was someone I heard who was just talking about /cgl/ when they were charging their phones at the same socket as I did.

I used t be like that, that said, for the past few years it upgraded from depression to bittersweet, since it went from having no friends(first 2 years of AX) to having made friends but then realizing your probably worlds apart from them and then knowing that your time with them ends when the con ends.

I appreciate it mainly because as much as I think that I might be inherently evil as person, the people I've met and the friends I've made from AX give me the sense of humanity I never knew I needed.

It makes you want to work on having a better life, having better finances, working hard to get to your goals, because you want to be with those people, you want to extend that 4 day con way past those 4 days
