actually from what i know, charity stores aren't really a thing. i think some stores (like spank, etc) make money off of used clothing, but i know for things like furniture, electronics, appliances, they just got thrown away. like even giving someone a used item is considered rude, i think? there's a group of people who go around and will take still-working things from the trash at times when people are sleeping.
this is stuff i learned in a japanese culture and society class i took last year from my professor who lived in japan for a while, so it could be totally wrong and/or out of date so please correct me if so!

Ohhhhh... I know there's some weird shit going on between this person and despairkomaeda and I don't really know if these messages are legit or not.
Fandom drama is the most confusing thing to me. I just don't get it.

ALSO, I realized today, I think rather than Dangan Ronpa I think OFF is more likely to be the next Homestuck? At least in terms of hoards of fans. I've already seen closet cosplay from it (since the outfits are easy) and those "askthischaracter" blogs run by cosplayers.
