Over tumblr. We were two of the first Dangan Ronpa cosplayers so we started talking on skype, months later I admitted to having a crush on her and she said she felt the same way.

No pics yet, but we're going to be cosplaying Rise and Naoto from Persona 4 and Fukawa and Togami from Dangan Ronpa.

It's a QR code. Usually they can be scanned by smartphones and are used to link to websites/images/whatever, but in this version of Animal Crossing you scan it with the built-in camera and it imports the design. Much better than trying to recreate it pixel-by-pixel like in the old DS and Gamecube versions haha.

Ahhh god I ordered this the other day and it shipped today from Amazon, I'm hoping it'll arrive this weekend.

I've been saving a bunch of cute and fandom-related prints, but I know I'll have to either wait a while or time travel in order to use them...

I cosplayed Fukawa, Monomi, and Mukuro at Fanime. It was so bizarre going to the gathering and seeing so many cosplayers considering just at Sakuracon like a month ago there was my little group and just 2 or 3 other dangan cosplayers. At ALA literally 2 people recognized our group.
It was like being in the twilight zone, looking around and seeing dangan cosplayers besides my friends.

I was the Monomi in front here. It's a fun costume, super comfy haha. I want to wear it more.
(bonus, Monomi is a fat little rabbit so i can be a whale and still be accurate lol)

Remade this top from scratch because I disliked it so much.
I'm trying to improve my sailor collars, and I think I'm making progress. I need to fix up a few little things but I'm sick of looking at the top since I've been working on it all day haha.

except the designs are good and there's still barely any cosplayers.

at cons i see like MAYBE 3-4 DR cosplayers not including my friends, and I get recognized around that many times too. the majority of the fandom doesn't cosplay or go to conventions.

......to be on topic, I did a wig/makeup test for my Monomi costume. I just need to fix a few things and I'm ready to wear her ti Fanime next weekend. I need to lighten my eyebrows too, frickin dark hair making everything more difficult.

I just picked up materials to re-do my Fukawa top, as well as some chrome spray paint for plastics so I can fix up my Syo scissors. So thank you for the advice from the people in the last thread!

it actually wasn't spray paint, it was acrylic paint, which probably explains why it doesn't look so good haha. I'm going to look into some paints for plastic to ensure they stick, along with trying to actually get the little pointy details.

the scissors were a last minute thing before the con since I wanted some sort of prop for Syo beyond the tongue and I figured they'd look fine in hall photos as least.

I actually bought clay to add the details, but for whatever reason the clay refused to stick to them at all. I'm awful at props but I'm hoping to fix them before fanime.
(for dollar store scissors I'm not too upset with them)
