Noodles?
Smart. Works well.

>>7670314

Nice. That first character is cute.

>>7668078

I do like seeing older people cosplaying. Around here Anime conventions seem to attract fourteen-sixteen year olds.

>>7668014

That is the exacts same dress as a female friends of mine. It's cute.

>>7667771

I like your jaw. Also your boots.

>>7667488

I hope you wear that mask paintballing some time.

>>7666547
Cute.

And here. I eventually got around to wearing tights with this costume. Remembered those little lines on the face too. Couldn't find the earrings on that day though..

No.

But I had a brony "phase". However I still like ponies, and still wear the costume when the occasion is right.

Shit. I was excited, and promptly had my hopes destroyed.

Anyways:
I'm 20, Male, From Saskatchewan/Alberta border.
I've crossplayed quite a bit, and recently started trying to build costumes from scratch.
Any sort of Cosplay friends really.
Crazy people. Definitely don't want crazy people.
Skype is "herpy.mcderpster"

Nigga, that doesn't hold me back.

You just have to take all the fucks you have, and then don't give any when you get flak.

But do try to look your best. It's amazing what makeup can do when you learn how to do it proper. And wearing the right clothes can help too. And hair. You can even conceal your face a bit with the some hairstyles.

Here's a bump cause I don't want thia to die from some silly raid.

Met this moon at Calgary Comic expo. She was really nice, and fun to be with. Made her. Own costume as well.

Can't be a hundred percent sure, but these two are friends of a calgary friend.

So I just tested all that business in Microsoft paint.

Taking samples of colour from each bit, dark parts, and light parts.

And yes. When placed right next to each other, you can tell the difference. But it is certainly not as significant as you would try to lead someone to believe.

>Better?

Significantly.

And yes, I did come here.
I don't know what I was expecting.

Yes, Jupiter does have goggles, and those I did think were odd.

As for this>>7619960
I think your monitor is off. It's red. Alll of it is red. And not even near as mismatched as you make it sound.

>And I just don't see this fuckery with other fandoms to this extent. So Idon't belive it's just "bore

Sailor Moon IS twenty years old now. And probably attracted more girls than the other two.
And they could be bored of vanilla cosplay in general.

>>7619656

Here. At least you pointed something specific out.

I don't think that outweighs the rest though.

>> No.7619646 [View]

I think these were inspired from some art. I think.
And some were bored with just doing accurate costumes over and over, they thought that could be considered uncreative.

>>7619621

I don't know about the rest, but Mars, Moon, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto made most of the parts.
Skirts, and bows I know were handmade. And so were props.

As for the wigs, I don't see what the problem with any of them are.

>>7619622

It fit the theme better with it?

I know you shouldn't post friends on /cgl/. But considering this is on page one if you google "Punk Sailor Moon Cosplay", I'll make an exception.

I'm Curious what do people think of this?

Both.
This is an incredibly slow board. This thread will probably be around for a week.

And it is mostly girls.
A lot of it is J-fashion, and lolita type things, not cosplay only.
I actually think it's /tg/ that might have similar things to what you're looking for.

My first attempt at actually making something on my own.
Supposed to be G3A3 from Upotte, but they took my gun away.

Well I found this picture on their facebook page.

I know There's better out there, but I already looked for ten minutes to only find this one.

>> No.7544067 [View]

>>7542736

Well... It wasn't much of a costume.

The entire thing was;
Pair of ears made out of foam
A yellow t-shirt
Wings sewn on the back. Made of foam.
Cutie Mark printed on with iron on transfer paper
A bright pink tail made out of the cheapest halloween wig I could find, and tied on with string to the back of my jeans.
Jeans I tell you.

Heck, most of the stuff I got came straight from the dollar store, and a lot of foam wasn't even used.

I think four years. Not four years done seriously, or well though.
>Most expensive cosplay
I think I spent about $300. on my Sailor Mars outfit total. (Uniform, shoes, earrings, an actual brass tiara)
>Least expensive
I think I might have spent $20.00 on a Fluttershy costume. It was terrible, and really just the wings, and cutie mark attached to a yellow shirt.

I've always wanted to see a sort of military pilot Rainbow Dash.
Complete with surplus helmet would be amazing.

And a guy in the back with an.... interesting facial hair style.

Crazy good Sub-Zero.
Had this glowing blue ball prop suspended between his hands using a thin wire.
