This is the response I got from FromJapan, no personal response from JetJ on my e-mail yet.

"Dear Nina R,

Thank you very much for your email.

Regarding order ****Y, the item arrived alreay at our warehouse,
so we would not be able to add the Check Service. Still, we will see
if we can do it this once as an exception.

Also, the store contacted us because apparently the measurements are 1-2 cms off (not the 11 cms you mentioned), so they would like to know if we want to send the item back so they can fix these measurements. They say that, if that is the case, the item would be fixed and ready around the end of January.

Shall we send back the item to the seller, so thay fix it, or do you wish
for us to ask them if we can cancel it and get a refund?"

Well, I'm afraid that if I send it back they won't fix it properly, because apparently they don't see the problem.

Are we talking about the same dress or just JetJ in general? Because it wouldn't make a lot of sense for the dress to be too small in comparison to the original measurements and then a couple be too big, since they would be made with a pattern, unless they used different patterns.

To anyone who ordered through FJ, I would contact them anyway. Who knows. And of course contact JetJ!

I used FJ too and they don't cancel. They told me that if I apply for the check service (150 yen) and if the sizes indeed don't match they might be able to get a refund. But they also said I needed to apply before the item was received at the office and it just arrived before I could reply. So idk what to do.

I really hope that JetJ replies soon and works on solving it, because it's my favorite brand and I would be so disappointed otherwise :c

Aww that's so nice to hear! I've been super busy settling in Germany, and I've been meaning to do more contests and giveaways but there was just no time for it. Everything is getting a bit better now though, so there will be more outfit contests in the future!

I've always partially judged the contests myself (and with others) and really, it's super difficult to make a choice. It's way easier to let people vote for it, but it opens it for unfairness too. What I was thinking is having the first round by votes, but let a big pool of people go through the second round. Maybe a handful of personal picks if I feel there should be people in there that aren't. Since part of it is for finding spokesmodels, popularity does play a rule - but there will be other prizes too :3

This was an outfit someone made for me for one of those "put 3 outfits together for someone else" themes on the LJ community, and the shoes are actually brown but because they're those cheap shiny pleather Aintainna shoes they photograph way darker than they are.

I like the outfit she put together for me, but it would look better on someone else, not me :)

Typically taller people have bigger feet, and bigger feet in flats/tea parties/RHS usually tend to look a bit less elegant, it's better to wear heels. It's also better for your posture and makes you legs look nicer.

It's difficult to capture it on camera, the print has a slightly pink tone to it. I've had the skirt before and it had exactly the same thing, so maybe it's just how the print is.

Yeah but CAS/Bodyshop was even shitty in TS2 to create things with. Importing new meshes/making working genetics etc. needed extra work anyway. I've never looked very in depth at it with TS3, apparantly hair was easier to import, but with the ingame recolor/texture options and the way the skins were mapped it was a whole lot less interesting to make stuff for it. We'll see how TS4 pans out.

Oh man, I've made so much shit for The Sims 2. I kind of missed that in The Sims 3 (but then again everything was ugly in that game anyway), maybe Sims 4 is better for content creators again. One can hope! Or not, I don't have time for fooling around with stuff like that anymore.

The chance that there's a bug in the wig is almost non existant, it would need to go through the locked plastic bag, and a locked plastic storage container! Nevertheless, the story creeped me out D: I hate bugs and spiders and any kind of wiggling or crawling feeling freaks me out

I think it's great, not only is it good for taller girls that don't want to show as much skin, but it's a way to also add a different or extra color to your outfit or spruce up a plain dress. It being an underskirt also means that you're not stuck with it, so if you decide to add an ivory element to the bottom of your dress, you can always switch it out for a black one for a different outfit, for example.

I feel the longer dresses is also kind of a reaction to Angelic Pretty's super short dresses. They keep on getting shorter, to the point that even on their own models they seem way too short.
