I've heard some pretty bad reviews for sammydress, but nothing bad about this site yet, and they have stock in USA so it seems like the shipping should cost less. Just want to avoid getting ripped off.

My best friend usually takes these pictures, so derpy moments are often had. Still, did she really have to capture it in photo? Haha.

pic related, that's a bit extreme, but its easy to get similar less-dramatic effects if you want. It will basically give you a step-by-step when you play the action.

For lighting, the "curves" function (image>adjustments>curves, at least in photoshop 7) is your best friend. I can't find any tutorials on that, but it should be easy to get something you want after a few minutes of messing around.
