Here's a (actual) game that debuted on Otakon 2011: Ninja.

It involves people trying to tag each other and staying still at the same time, like ninjas. To defeat your opposing playing, you tag them. Last man standing wins. I've seen this game and one variation at Otakon 2011, Anime USA 2011, MAGFest 10, Katsucon 18, and Otakon 2012.

Speaking of Gangnam Style there were few instances of people renacting the music video. Not to mention the people who were dressed up as Psy.

and now a taste to whats to come in my photo thread.

I did not took as much pictures this year due to the lack of photoshoots as usual in AUSA due to the fact that this was their first year at their new hotel, but I took at least plenty of photos of various cosplayers.

(You should have seen the Sakura from the Ring series holding a TV set.)

Yes, there were plenty of homestuckers. But the hotel for the most part is good and I'm personally happy that a anime con has finally come home to DC after Katsucon left after the 14th iteration.

One of the things I did not like is that the video game room is no longer open 24 hours. AUSA used to do that in the previous years but these days with their need for sleep and with newer consoles more prone to heat related malfunctions it makes perfect sense.

I already have plans of going and I will be into cosplay. But you have to be aware that MAGFest is a not a cosplay-oriented event.
