I was going to say the same thing. They don't own the rights to the character or design. And they don't own the costume once they give possession of it away. The other person doesn't need permission of any kind. I can see from an artists point of view that it would be annoying to see your work changed, but it's nothing to get upset about.

I don't understand the use of bodysuits. I can understand when it's a hairy guy, but what about the girls who wear them or the guys who have little hair or shave anyway? The suit often doesn't match the face in color so doing so for matching skin tones doesn't make much sense. And the suit is always a thick fabric the wrinkles easy. If you are compelled to wear a suit then why not use something tighter like, skin colored tights? There is so much potential for this thing looking really good, but in the vast majority of cases they look horrible.
