Be nice to the hotel staff. They put up with animu shit for a whole weekend and never complain unless someone seriously fucks up. Leave decent tips for the housekeeping and bellhops. Don't give security a bad time for doing their fucking job. The only reason why the hot tub at ALA had to be drained was because some cockjuggling homoshit didn't listen to security and snuck in there after being told not to. Don't shit where you eat.

Almost forgot about that. Leaving a nice tip for the housekeeping is also helpful if you choose to utilize their services. You don't get tattled on and they get an extra ten bucks in their pockets.

Hotbox in a hotel bathroom with the shower going full blast. Keep the water running for a while after the sesh to help with the smell. Bring Febreeze.

Arda didn't have the wig I needed and no one else carried a similar style that was vaguely affordable. So now I have all of this alcohol-based makeup just sitting here being useless. Prolly gonna have to use a cane to get around thanks to health bullpucky. The bright side is that I can shake it at kids who are getting too rowdy.

If anyone actually does bring spiders this year, let me know so that I can give you the gathering schedule and you can time it properly.

I'll agree with the other posters that it was an eyegasm, especially the ending credits and the music used. It wasn't catchy and kind of weird, but it captured the feelings of the first frost of the year quite well. The graphic designer in me was jizzing all over the place due to the font, coloration, and art.

Kyle, the gentleman at the front desk of one of the hotels, was super nice and got us a bunch of water to cook the spaghetti in. I left a letter at the front desk saying that he went above and beyond the call of duty. Hopefully he got a promotion, or at least a raise. He is a true bro.

I know a LARPer who gladly spent $250 on a simply boffer two-hander because he doesn't know how to haggle politely. Yeah, mats and man hours are going to figure into cost, but a lot of people overestimate those costs.
