And to clarify, I'm sorry if Anon thought it wasn't weird to stroke a stranger's hand. To me, that's a bit weird. I didn't overreact. I didn't call con staff.
Also to elaborate on the story, when I refused him a second time [after he stroked my hand] he turned to look at my friend dressed as Elesa.
"Hey you're a girl. I can ask you for a hug." [or something to that extent]

She said 'You may ask, but I can also choose to decline' And that was that.

Yeah I was wondering why the designers gave her a halter top dress...and a cloak...and shoulder armor. NOT sure how that would all work in real life.

I plan to attach the shoulder armor to the halter neckline of the dress. Then attach the cloak to the edge of the shoulder armor if that makes sense? It's the only way I can think of that would make sure everything stays in place and not in an obnoxious manner...

In my room lighting it shows up just fine! Since I added another EL wire it's even brighter now. Obviously in sunlight there's no point. And convention lighting isn't the brightest to begin with so hopefully it works out! The two battery packs will be tucked into my glove. Bulky but there was no way I could tuck them into the handle like I wanted to.

I'm kinda liking this so far. Bear in mind it's my second attempt at a prop.

Since that pic was taken I've added another EL wire in for more blingbling. Also I'm gonna do a light coat of spray paint on the shrink wrap to help disguise how I built the bottom. Concrit would be lovely. I'm not a prop person but this was fun

All the chiffon I saw at the store at the time wasn't the color I want but I want a more flowy/floaty feeling so I'll do that next time.

Almost done the top. Just finished up the shorts as well. All that's really left is the hairbow and arm bands and tights.

Small progress but I'm mainly done RWBY's Blake's boots. Gotta do some velcro work for the front so you can't see socks.

Fluevogs are niiiiiice. I read a shit ton of reviews saying how comfy and long lasting they are so I bought a pair for my boyfriend. He really likes them but he said he's not sure of the price tag since the bottoms have already worn out and he had to go to a cobbler for some scratches on them.
