Regarding this, I can safely say that after four years being in the Gaylord, the Katsucon Curse has been officially lifted. Despite various threats of the Curse staying and this latest threat from 11-16 year olds Katsucon managed to not to get banned.

Now the real problem now is the organization piece, they've a disorgonized con for various reasons. Oh, and they need to bring back Game Katsu, and it's massive old arcade collection!

I'm currently recovering from the post-convention hangover so I'll post a few pictures from my footage I got from the convention.

>Just so that my followers know, it was confirmed by a hotel manager on Sunday that BBYO is not ever invited back to the Gaylord due to the rules broken by them and the insane amount of damage. (Last count was 8 rooms needing fumigating due to them smoking in them with broken alarms.) I have seen plenty of con-damage in my life throughout the northeast, but from what I’d seen and experience this weekend really made me feel that BBYO was a retreat for spoiled white kids. The BBYO staffers were nice, but I heard of many stories that the high schoolers (ages 11-16) were rude and nasty to the Katsucon goers. Even though many times they were orderly and calm, even during the the separation of the cons.

On zero day of Katsucon, the BBYO con had a impromptu rave at night. I actually recorded footage of that rave for about ten or so minutes before I was escorted out by BBYO staff.

(Fun Fact: BBYO was actually seperated from the main B'nai B'rith organization, it's just an initialism (Source: One of the main staffers))

Now for the anime convention itself, it's safe to say that the Katsucon curse has been lifted. The real problem and curse is the organization of the con!

As long as you don't make the gijinka suck, and the best way to do that is to accurately fit the chracter as a human.

My first convention (Otakon 2007) was more of a one-day stand on Saturday. I wore no cosplay, it was just me exploring the convention and taking as much photos as I can before 5pm. I did met the creator or megatokyo at the Artist Alley. The biggest thing I saw that was memorable was the Cosplay Square of the Convention.

I do have videos of the convention from my small Kodak easy-share camera to this day, they're in dark archives.

I'm having my own panel, and this will be my third panel in a row for Katsucon. It's called "The Imageboard World 2 - The Chanverse": It will be about my website and everything a average person should know about the Chanverse.

For some reason Katsucon shoved my panel to Sunday at 3am at Live 12. But it's well worth it if you're suffering from con-induced insomnia.
