For some reason that strikes me as hilarious, but I guess people who aren't familiar with Portland would see that kind of thing as pretty shocking. I feel like I've been taking the weirdness of Portland (well Oregon in general) for granted.

To be honest, if I saw someone come to class in cosplay, I'd be really excited.

I remember the year my mom thought it would be a good idea to get costumes for the dogs. They weren't very happy. So cute though ;_;

Judging by the first post, it seems to me that she was saying she'd rather have her child end up being one of those old men than young girls. Which is understandable - nobody wants their young teen child to be taken advantage of. Either way, it would be horrible, but from a parent's perspective, it seems like it would be worse to have your kid be the "victim"... I've never been a parent, so I don't really know.
Very, very poor choice in words though.

I actually agree with this, to an extent. I don't think it's particularly abnormal to be attracted to girls this age (as much as it pains me to admit it) seeing how most are pretty developed.
That being said most girls that age have NOT matured mentally. The reason why it's not socially acceptable to have sex with younger girls is because they're usually (usually, not always) not emotionally prepared and it can cause issues later on...
However, if a (sober) girl that age is giving her full consent, go for it I guess. As long as you aren't afraid of jail.

I don't see why cosmetic tooth straightening is treated differently than other procedures. People almost treat it like a deformity. I can understand if it's related to your health, but that's pretty rare. It's just surprising how hypocritical people are in this area without even realizing it.
