The fact that it can act as a tool for putting sound monetary policy into anything is really interesting.

The long and the short of it is that deflation is far more powerful and important to good economics than you can imagine. If a currency is deflating and appreciating it forces a lot of healthy economic choices that are good for savers and good for your assets.
