we just keep winning, and yet, we just keep dumping

I just saw the future after we all make it. It’s pretty depressing. We are sitting in mansions and we have every material good we could possibly want and every freedom and for the first year or two it’s awesome but then it slowly loses its magic and we are trying to be grateful but we get unimaginably bored and have these existential breakdowns and we start doing more and more dangerous and sociopathic shit until we are doing heavy drugs just to feel some sort of high and then we just keep descending into full blown degeneracy until it consumes us. I saw myself sitting in this massive mansion with all of these valuables around me and literally none of it made me happy in fact it terrified me because I was realizing that making it doesn’t solve anything and even the feelings of appreciation and gratefulness of the fact that you never have to work again faded until they didn’t give me any sense of perspective whatsoever.
