I would say I'm not prone to stress unless it's a job that deals with the physical safety of another person. Other than that I feel content with working hard and typically carry partners in a group project or just finish it by myself if that means pulling allnighters.

Besides that I'm ok with more high stress jobs and wagecucked as a dishwasher for a while at a really busy restuarant and had to multi task with being a busser and also washing dishes.

Idk what type of career path or study would suit me though. I hate feeling incompetent though so idk. I wish I just new what to do or had parents push me in a single direction but instead I have no clue what to jump into and am fearful of making the wrong decision

I keep hearing conflicting things regarding accounting. Some articles say it's the safest major to get a decent job and eventually get a six figure salary while others are painting a picture of doom and gloom and that the accounting industry will face automation and a large chunk of their workers will no longer be needed.

Is accounting a safe choice to major in in the current year or should I just go for something in IT instead? I want to go for a math degree but an accounting degree on takes 3 years as opposed to 4 and it seems like the much safer option. Time and time again you hear math majors struggling to find a job.

Or should I just do CS instead or both math or accounting? What about physics or engineering?

I was originally thinking about CS but after researching about it for the past month and reading the posts here I'm not sure what to choose. Math maybe? Economics? Does a math major and econ minor sound good? Join the Canadian Armed Forces and do a trade? Btw the Canadian Armed Forces trade thing probably wouldn't be preferable since it's pretty hard to get into the CAF and even harer to get into a specific trade. I'd most likely just be a grunt making peanuts.
