It has a bunch of bonds with low interest rates. But now with rising interest rates, the FED earns less interest interst on these bonds than it has to pay in billions to the banks through high interest rate with Repo.

I'm a long way from retirement and seriously doubt I'll have that option when the time comes. Save for people who grew up in a rural setting; from what I'm seeing so far, this latest generation will be a disaster of complete and utter incompetence. Had to start a new job because they became the dominate labor force and forced my employer to close its doors because they were running 20% of what they used to produce. It's gonna get real ugly.
