SENT's latest publication covers both the team's custom strategy to score the highest number of points in the GameOfZones Phase 2, as well as the importance that Phase 2 had on thoroughly stress-testing cosmos IBC

The multi-channel relayer used by the Sentinel team to achieve the highest throughput in the competition (transactions per second) has been fully open-sourced and is referenced in the blog post.

The Phase 2 of the GOZ competition tested the current version of the IBC protocol to it's limits and allowed for unique strategies to be deployed that allowed participants to showcase their ingenuity in the aspect of increasing packet throughput.

"Sentinel is in the process of completing its formalization to move form an anonymous to a transparent structure with a foundation incorporated in switzerland

Sentinel team is onboarding institutional support and will be transitioning to it's cosmos mainnet only after the formalization procedure is completed"

A critical update from $SENT, the previous monolithic structure of the Sentinel desktop client has been split into a microservice architecture based backend and front-end

@spidervpn users will be able to remotely access the #dVPN on their router

https://github.com/ironman0x7b2/client/blob/development/main.go

In the previous client, the UI and the application logic is in the same desktop client codebase which has been written in ReactJS.

There was no ability for other applications to integrate with the Sentinel dVPN network or for users to remotely manage their dVPN client

The new client features a binary file which starts a API server that allows for the UI to be imported from anywhere in the subnet.

On top of this binary anyone can write their own custom UI and also integrate dVPN and Sentinel account into their own app through the API server

What does this mean?

1) Remote management of Sentinel dVPN present in home router/raspi
2) Ability for enterprises/organizations to build applications ontop of the Sentinel network with dynamic UI that is maintained from their own server (users do not need to download a new installer for a UI update)
3) Ability for other applications to integrate Sentinel dVPN services and account system into their application

We will be releasing incentives in the future for developers who take advantage of the microservices architecture present on Sentinel.

SENT token will be used to secure sent dpos chain based on tendermint it will work the same as tezos and cosmos.
the token will also have secondary utility to pay for dvpn and other services offered on top of the chain.
without its own chain the whole project wouldn't work as some of the dvpn logic is executed by the chain itself.

anybody will be able to built on top of sent backend , there is already a vpn that did this called velocity, here is the source

https://mobile.twitter.com/Elysium_co/status/1266294283595771904

but the real value will come from enterprise integration and legacy vpns,
vpn providers will be able to get better brand recognition by saying they use blockchain tech , and and costs for end users should also decrease while they will also be able to route between different nodes thanks to sent realy net

Currently the Sentinel dVPN is running on both an Ethereum and a Tendermint Testnet, and will transition to a monetized mainnet that will also include fiat payment gateways.

https://sentinel.co/ you can download it and check it out for free.
sentinel allows users to offer bandwidth between themself, so you won't have centralized companys logging all your data, also sentinel is building its own implementation of "multi hops relay net" that will allow you to bounce your traffic between multiple nodes, and also there will be a special kind of exit nodes that can exit directly into tor, making sent a layer 2 solution for tor

sentinel main net swap will happen before the end of the year but no exact date yet, it will depend on how testnet develops.
you can follow the testnet in real time here > http://explorer.sentinel.co

here there are some more info on the testnet launch which happened yesterday
