Personally I'm voting with my wallet by never buying any fake meat or fake meat companies. I fear it won't stem the tide. I fear in 20 years plant-based food will rule the world as meat gets slowly phased out and becomes insanely expensive. I fear governments pushing liberal agendas to shame meat-eaters. I fear children of the next generation being indoctrinated into hating meat, just like Americans were indoctrinated into its backwards "fat-free" food craze (lobbied by the sugar industry) that only caused obesity rates to skyrocket.

Overnight lending market almost fucking collapsed today, target rate set by Fed was 2-2.25% but it spiked to 10%. Fed just had to inject an emergency $53 billion into the market to keep it afloat, but it could just be a band-aid if the behavior continues over the next couple days.

In my own life I have seen that only 5% of welfare recipients actually need it and 95% of them are actually just unwilling to work. That one exception is a disabled person (and his family is willing to take care of him so even he could survive without).
