I heard the other day that you can get into the virtual tour business pretty easily, you don't need a lot of skill, and you make good money if you hustle.

My start-up costs are looking like this:
>$400 for InstaOne X camera
>$11/month for Matterport subscription
>$240 for refurbished iPad (although Matterport is working on their Android App so that might change soon)
>Gas
>$10-$15/year for website
>$100 to create the actual entity

Initially, I plan on targeting Realtors in my area who don't use virtual tours for their listings (90% of the local market is for the taking).

My research indicates that for an average sized house, I should be able to charge at least $200 for a scan. I plan on marketing by creating a portfolio from a couple buildings I have access to and emailing these sample tours to realtors with an email explaining why these tours will help them sell more homes and offer a free scan.

What am I missing here anons? The start-up costs are basically paid for after the first 4 paid scans. If I can average 2/business day, I can pull $100k/year for not a lot of time invested.

What's the catch?
