>This is literally the dumbest idea ever. Why would you put judicature in the hands of uneducated people? Almost all law cases are too complex to solve for people that don't have a law degree. There are so many cases where, in retrospect, even the judge had it wrong and an even higher, more educated and experienced judge, had to correct the verdict. What makes you people think you can just vote over legal matters without a comprehensive understanding of the relevant law system? It is like doing away with surgeons and just letting medically uneducated people vote on what to do to a patients body. I just can't grasp how anyone can think Kleros is a good idea.

RUNE isn’t a simple governance coin like UNI.

In order to stake assets like ETH or BTC into Thorchain’s cross-chain liquidity pools, you have to provide an equal amount of RUNE. Every LP has to buy RUNE to get yield.

In order to operate a Thorchain node, operators have to provide x2 the value of the staked assets. This is to disincentivize node operator malicious behavior, and forces them to buy RUNE to receive operator rewards.

Thorchain’s tokenomics are god-tier compared to the rest of the crypto market. To simply value RUNE by it’s market cap compared to other DeFi coins is 70 IQ never-going-to-make-it thinking.
