Ok so biz ive never owned a pet. Ive always put my own freedom first. I am not planning to ever get married or have a gf. But ive been thinking about getting a dog for the past few weeks and how great it would be to have a dog as company and the emotional benefits of caring for it. But I'm aware that it comes with responsibilities. I feel like I could just throw money at a dog boarder before traveling, but can't help but think that at some point a major holiday or some time where there aren't any boarders available would happen at the same time I really want to travel, or I want to spontaneously extend my stay somewhere and have trouble contacting the boarder or boarding service. I shudder at the idea of neglecting a dog that is my responsibility, part of me thinks I am not meant to own a dog but also I don't wanna be so lonely anymore, what do? Anyone else thinking about this? any advice highly appreciated thanks frens WAGMI.
