being rich is a curse.
I was born rich as fuck, my parents spoiled me too much so I never had the motivation to do anything, they bought me every electronic gadget I wanted, every toy. I've traveled around the world to around 25 different countries (europe, latin america, asia, australia, etc), they paid for my university, bough me an apartment, a car, and they even gave me a decent monthly sum for my expenses until age 25 which I ended up saving and investing in crypto and stocks. The point is, despite all of that I still feel like shit constantly, I feel useless, like I haven't accomplished anything, despite of everything I've got with my effort, I still feel like I'm not worth enough, but I have so much that I can't get motivated to do anything at all to better my situation. Sometimes being rich is hell, even if you make it seem like the best thing in the world, it's not. We have nothing to live for cause we have everything, I wish I was born a little poor so I have some meaning and motivation in my life. I see people with less money than me as fortunates cause they get to have a sense of purpose. Stop idolazing money.

In 2018, I made less than the standard deduction of $12k, but my employer suddenly mailed me a 1099-MISC with about 1000 dollars in untaxed income that wasn't on my W2.
I didn't know about this 1099-MISC when I mailed in my return a month ago.
Even with this additional reported income, I still made less than the standard deduction so my refund amount wouldn't change, I would be getting back everything withheld for 2018 as a refund.

Will I get assfucked by the IRS if I don't mail in an amended return, or can I simply ignore it?

I'll never have anywhere near .1 btc. All I want is to make it like everyone else here but many of us won't the statistical odds are against us. For me and as it seems many others we have wide eyed dreams hoping to beat the odds find that moon mission and make it. We won't no matter how hard we try. You can only get lucky. Maybe one day you'll get lucky anon. Then you can do all the amazing things you always wanted to with it but not all of us will get that.
