I highly suggest trying DMT kids. LSD is amazing, but! It lasts around 6-10 hours (variable intensity), so the whole day is wasted. Also while you perceive you are acting fine - you are acting veeery very different than you think and thus can't really be outside in public while you 're tripping.

Enter DMT. DMT is the substance our brain releases during death. The whole "you see the while light and feel you are leaving your body behind". That's DMT. Each DMT trips starts with the feeling of being lifted away from your body.

DMT lasts about 5-10 minutes, but it's insanely intense. When you wake up you feel humble, you have no ego. Not in a "we are insignificant" kind of way, but in a "we are insignificant and a part of the universe".

Sadly, while it is very easy to find LSD (and super cheap, $2 per drop. That's $2 for 10 hours of trippy entertainment!) it is insanely hard to find DMT and your only luck is knowing someone who makes it themselves - not to profit from it, but for the science of exploring the deepest corners of human imagination and mind.

Anyway, always be responsible and enjoy yourselves.

I did LSD today, the second time I've ever done it, the first being 5 days ago. It was a super hot, sunny day. I went outside and it was indescribably beautiful. I realised that my body is special, because infused into it is all the experiences that I've gone through. I've made this body my own, and because it's my own it's special and I should love it. I wouldn't want anybody else's body, because it wouldn't be my body. And lastly, I realised that I have ultimate power over whether I choose to feel good or bad. All this time I've been the one trying to appease the bad feelings, but now I realise that I have the power, and I don't have to listen to them. I can dismiss them if I so choose. They have to appeal to me for my attention, I'm not going to be at their mercy anymore.

It's all about the mindset going in. If they were already predisposed to spouting woo-woo, they'll do more of that the more frequently they use psychedelics. But it seems like people with a more scientific/rationally grounded mindset have wildly different experiences.
