1. Link isn't in the same level of horseshit as ICP
2. Link has a dedicated and active dev team and crew that effectively support it on your behalf.
This is all the help I'm giving you.

I feel that they are two opposing teams, ICP is the blockchain that can do everything, and doesn't need link.

All other blockchains are shit, and will rely on link to get offchain data.

I can't tell you which will win out, but what I will say is that ICP is the only chain that can build useful applications real businesses may want to use...

how can you compare an erc20 token that acts as an oracle with a full stack platform that can act as the internet? icp doesn't even need oracles since it communicates via https with web2. you literally have the biggest brains in the world working at dfinity. native bitcoin is integrated at the core level which means it just got a whole lot smarter. theres a bunch of devs working in stealth building out btc dapps. how even dare you compare icp with link?

I'm all in on ICP. It will vacuum everything up once ckETH and ckERC20 goes live (less than 1 year left for this to happen). By the way, while USDT/USDC will likely be first, LINK ERC20 tokens will also be included.

ICP will vacuum up everything. It's the best pure tech play. Sure the price is shit, but DCA'ing remedies most concerns regarding that.

Here is a quick rundown of the latest:

>ckBTC was and continues to be a success with MyLugano app as the first real-life pilot for payments
main focus for DFINITY is now ckETH which is a huge deal.
>ckETH yields way to ckERC20 which means you can store USDT directly on the IC blockchain
>Instead of scumbag marketing, DFINITY is currently investing in IC Hubs in major regions around the world to boost development on the IC blockchain
>Dom admits challenges with tokenomics. Parties who invested at 3 cents are obviously dumping to take profits
>The situation will eventually normalize, death spiral won't happen. This has already been proven mathematically on DFINITY forum, as even if ICP were to be =$1.50, node payouts would comprise ~27% of total rewards.
>There’s already a cap for node providers and then they’re working on a proposal now for a different cap
>DFINITY is a nonprofit that only focuses on making ICP the best blockchain

I just realized that its we have got such threads since 2017, comparing LINK with actual shitcoins and asking which is the one to buy.
Almost makes it look like a ploy to push people away from investing in LINK.
Many fell for it and are now holding REQ, ARK, BAT, PNK etc instead of LINK.

ICP is really cool. Too bad the community hops from one horseshit app to the next horseshit app acting like it'll be the savior of the coin.

The platform needs a variety of stuff going on (outside of the social media clones), but the community is betting it all on a Hail Mary game that even the creator says wont be out in +10 years. If there isn't anything built by then ICP will just crumble under the node operator costs before that time passes.

>Scam vs Scam
Quite literally. LINK is just mediocre but they promised so much and little has been actually delivered, in years. ICP on the other hand quite literally fucked everyone over with inside trading, for which there's a shit ton of proof for.
The conversation should be THIS, to be honest. I made this in Paint. What do you think?

Nevermind found it in that lawsuit:
>Data from the website ic.rocks, which tracks ICP transactions, corroborates Arkham’s analysis. That data shows that, on May 10, approximately 4 million ICP tokens were sold on Coinbase. Nearly all of those tokens were sold by just twenty different accounts, which received their ICP directly from Dfinity around that time. A research report from Cycle Dao, published at the end of June 2021, shows that “Seed” and “Early Contributor” investors had access to only 1,660 ICP on May 10. Statements from “Community Airdrop” and “Presale” investors, described below, show that they did not have access to any ICP on May 10.
> addition, on May 24, a single account sold 2 million ICP on Coinbase; on June 15, another account sold approximately 5.2 million ICP on Coinbase; and from May 16 to July 28, another account sold approximately 6.5 million ICP on Coinbase. Each of these accounts received its ICP from Dfinity, and from no other source. These three sellers were responsible for selling nearly 14 million ICP between May 10 and July 28 on Coinbase
>Data from ic.rocks shows that “Seed” and “Early Contributor” investors currently have access to only 3.25 million ICP total (and would have had access to even fewer tokens in May and June, due to the vesting requirements described below). And data from Messari, in the report endorsed by Dfinity, shows that “Strategic” and “Presale” investors would only have access to less than 3 million ICP until June 30. Dfinity and its insiders were therefore responsible for these large sales, in addition to many smaller sales that occurred over the same period.

Thing is this relies on how accurate ic.rocks data is. It was made by a random dude and isn't even around anymore. It's strange that Dfinity is still developing it if it was suppose to be a rug pull all along.
