Been listening to Sergey's interview with Lex Fridman. The value of oracle networks is obviously potentially HUGE.

But why does that give LINK value/demand?
Do they need to buy link to use links oracle networks?
Or is it faggot shit like UNIswap token, where it has no use or value?

>What give LINK value?
People buying it with real money in hopes of selling it for more real money.

then its no differnt to dog coins.

Are you telling me, LINK tokens arent needed to do their cool oracle contracts?
Dumb.

I'll do you one better. Cool oracle contacts aren't even needed. Other than shit token prices checks, the entire service is valueless. Technically even the uniswap fart token price checking is valueless, because nobody ever has or will pay an actual penny to use it.

Damn! What a fool token to hold

Nar, i can see the value in being able to provide real world data to smart onchain contracts to determine payout etc.

It's called a spreadsheet. They predate televisions. Crypto not needed.
