52926305 No.52926305 [Reply] [Original]

Out of respect to the general XMR thread, I'm going to make a Monero thread for Moonboys.

I LITERALLY cannot think of a single reason XMR will not skyrocket in 2023. Every thing, macro and charts, tell the story of XMR as the sleeping giant of the year. Massive, 5 year cup and handle forming, the CBDCs being rolled out and turning everyone into a digital slave.

Privacy is only possible through Monero. The ENTIRE WORLD DEMAND for privacy against CBDC slavery will come to Monero. All XXX will make it.

How are you preparing to be the new crypto elite?

I only use XMR and DAI. Even I don't believe this is going to any moon mission. Monero is not a holding coin, people actually use it. However it is under severe threat from legislation. It will not stop the nodes nor the development. But to think that this will

>let's go to crypto!!!

The ONLY escape from digital slavery is XMR. In the coming years, 10% OF WORLD TRADE will come into Monero. All escaping the obvious digital tyranny to come.

Yes, yes let me just rephrase the same thing OVER and OVER again with CAPS to make sound SMART.

Again, nothing new. You fail to understand that CBDC's will further ruin tolerance for a coin like Monero. You fucking dumbfucks have no idea about how normie tards have everything in the clearnet and can't even begin to understand what OPSEC is and how Monero will help them, let alone have this sudden push for your brilliant plan.

Legislation against Monero will have it written off of exchanges, it will be given a bad name; there will be a discomfort and being associated with it. Yes it will continue, but you really seriously fucking believe that the ones in control want Monero to be anything more than it is? You seriously think they're going to just let it happen without any consequence? That it will just boom in 2023 without any sort of resistance to the unimaginable amount of effort and money put in place to work against it?" Are that fucking dumb to think that they haven't considered Monero yet? You're the genius who knows about it before they do? Fuck you.

>10% OF WORLD TRADE will come into Monero. All escaping the obvious digital tyranny to come.

Yep, you are indeed just another moonfag piece of filth, you are the equivalent of the unkempt homeless guy who walks into a convenience store and thinks he's clever than anyone else spending his spare change on lottery tickets and scratch tickets. No point in talking to someone who won't have any critical thought.

Sad thing is that I do believe in Monero, people like you give it a bad name, and to be associated with the likes of you makes me puke. Sucks to be you, probably don't even use Monero; hodlfag.

But I have a question, devil's advocate so to speak. What is monero's unique value proposition? Because to me it just feels like Bitcoin but with privacy. And I don't really have much of a reason to believe in Bitcoin, the proof of work shit is kinda retarded and I'm more of a proof of stake fan. But maybe with Monero it makes more sense? Are there other privacy coins with better tech? I think I trust Monero the most, it's been around the longest as a privacy thing, has a decentralized community and really seems to be self sustaining but all of that is just a temporary argument kinda because if something truly better comes out and launches fairly, and performs perfectly for a while, why wouldn't everybody switch in the long term? I'm really considering having a 10k USD XMR bag just in case, for an absolute worst case of leaving the country and everything behind.

This, I don't think Monero will or even can moon when tyranny is in full force. The moment cbdc's are dominant, unregulated crypto especially Monero will be fucked. They'll just deem non-KYC transactions completely illegal and every fiat on-ramp and mainstream businesses using monero will be forced to cut their xmr connections. The reason why the usual astroturfed XMR /biz/let hates making a profit out of holding is because they suffer from snowflake syndrome. They think they are special because they hold a coin used by real latino druglords. They also have posters of Che Guevara, Maduro, Kim and Snowden in their mommys basement. And since they are supported by mommy they don't pay their own bills, so they don't need to make money from speculation. Also they think speculation is bad, like any commie retard do.

Tankies, your time is over. Many people don't want CBDCs. The demand is right there.
If the people buy a coin that is constantly dumping, there will be no exit for them from slavery.
But I guess it don't matter for you, since you are COMMUNISTS and want the entire world to be like North Korea, a country that don't have even electricity. You sympathize with Klaus Schwab, that's why monero features in the techboy trinity (pic related), where holders only LOSE MONEY to support globalist WEF projects.
Guess what? If monero keeps dumping people will look for another solution, so the market is there, it is open, and any coin that is true to the privacy purpose will defeat it.

If & when CBDCs kick in, the central banks will start fucking around with the programmability aspects of it. Negative interest, trickle tax, tax on certain purchases (vice, esg), federal tax on private sales (1099-k). It is an authoritarian wet dream. This won't stop politicians from acting like drunk sailors with the people's wealth. They need CBDCs to keep their Ponzi going.
There are many offshore swappers, and DEXs are coming into vogue seeing as how CEXs are looking blatantly shady. Trading will continue for nations that are friendly to crypto.
To remind, XMR is inflationary, and uses RandomX for PoW. As such, the reward is decentralized. New supply can be made in the home. Some mine during their winter to offset heating costs as the waste product is something they require.
As far is BitCohen, it is still on network effect, and will coast on it for some time. IR5 knows that regardless, they like to grab what they can to keep the fiat Ponzi going. Keep an eye on bc1qa5wkgaew2dkv56kfvj49j0av5nml45x9ek9hz6 , as it will move from the ninth spot to around the fifth soon enough when the DOJ wins another 50k BTC from their latest forfeiture. >wait until X happens, then people will rush to XMR in DROVES to protect their wealth/safety/etc!
When has this ever been the case though? If you went back in time and told everyone on bitcointalk that bitcoin would be bought out by legacy banks and effectively neutered (well, everything in pic related), just think about all the cope you'd hear:
>"well obviously that would trigger a bank run and everyone would pull their bitcoin out of exchanges and never trust a centralized exchange again!"
didn't happen. At least not to a significant scale that it would bring coinbase and binance to their knees.
>"nah, couldn't happen, we would just fork!"
Okay now we have bitcoin cash and bitcoin SV. Care to tell me how much either of these are used in comparison to bitcoin?
>"well the banks will keep printing useless paper and bitcoin will still have a 21 million cap, so at the end of the day the truth will win out and people will STILL trust bitcoin more than fiat!"
Now after the FTX collapse there are droves of people getting out of crypto entirely because they don't want to lose money in an inflationary, recessive economy. There are people out there who straight up just lost money because they bought in 2021, saw their value decrease by over 50%, and had no choice but to sell because they needed to pay bills.

Now I'm not saying any of this will happen to monero, but my point is that this whole game theory thing about people getting "pushed out" of shitty amoral banking systems is flawed because it assumes that people will react rationally. Which, history has pointed out, they don't. I love monero and I think it's the true answer to today's problems, but I'm not going to cling to some pipe dream that even HALF of the people who hold bitcoin would switch to monero "when things get bad". Because that would be the rational thing to do. And this is clown world.

It more or less happened with pirated software. Pre-2010 just about everyone was using some form of stolen software and working on keygens to crack said software. Then around 2018 microkike and frens started pushing SaaS on their products. Then suddenly everyone realized paid software outside of a few select programs are trash and started working on/using FOSS software.
I'm not saying that people aren't retarded; they most likely won't be pushed out by the CBDC. Not initially anyway. They'll keep it up til the point where they can't afford it, then switch to using whatever their one normie friend who happens to know a bunch of criminals/1337 hax0rz is using. Enough normie drug dealers know what monero is that it won't be too difficult to initiate them and start growing circular economies around it.
