penny investing doesn't work. you need significant amount of money to make money.

the best you can do with a shitty financial situation like yourself is invest a set amount monthly. my current cap is $100/month, may increase it to $500/m soon.

if thats the case, i've often wondered where there isn't a /biz/ sticky explaining wealth building goals from beginner incomes and from age tier goals?

Should someone making less than $35k a year in NA be messing with crypto if they are paying 3/4 of their income to living expenses? Or should they be focusing on lowering expenses/getting a higher paying job?

I'd love to see some personal-life finance substance laid out in a sticky...

it's basically % of your income after tax that you have to juggle. pick between which is worth more of your time. maybe 15-20% after paying your obligations.

that, or like you said - get a higher paying job. there are websites out there measuring your worth relative to experience for a reason - so you can gauge whether you are getting scammed or on par with your peers' earning in the area.

right now i am in business development and dragging in 90K gross + commission... based on my experience most people are pulling only about 80-83k/year, and i am still sitting in 35 percentile.

if you are making 35k or less a year then jesus i pray for you because you literally wont have any leftover cash to invest unless you hit a goldmine and hold long term like what happened to btc. your time and effort can be better spent driving lyft or uber and you'd make more in returns.

crypto investing is just icing on the cake if you can afford the equipment

>crypto investing is just icing on the cake if you can afford the equipment

exactly my point, yet its discussion now pollutes 98% of /biz/.

Essentially gone is actual business discussion, personal or business finance discussion, asset management, goal structuring, discussions on startups both as an entrepreneur and as an investor....

You guys are way to nice! Great advice DESU.

I TURNED $26 INTO $4,000 within TWO weeks buying XSH on Tradesatoshi.

It's still cheap. I shilled at 2, 4, 20, 60, and 80 sats. It's on sell now for 68 sats. DO NOT miss the boat anons.

Also, it was awesome to see that people are willing to try and help someone new, or young, whichever you think I was.
