>One of the best privacy coins available
>brings value through being a platform for different developers to create projects on the Komodo blockchain
>BarterDEX, a decentralized crypto exchange allowing atomic swaps
>JUMBLR (essentially a way to launder your money, kek)
>CHIPS, a decentralized gambling dApp
>earn 5% interest on your KMD coins WITHOUT staking, which means all you need to do is have your coins in a wallet unlike PoS which requires your computer to be powered on and connected to the internet. This also means your APR is GUARANTEED rather than an approximation like PoS coins
>Fully functional light wallet which can be used on mobile devices

There's so much this has to offer and I haven't even got every point since I'm still reading about it. This is a great project.

I'm getting this info from supernet.org

Been seeing this coin for months now on coinmarketcap. I'm slightly interested.

Tons of very recent (last week or two) news on this coin and yet no news on biz.

I'm holding about 800. Looks like it's been accumulating for a while after a pump and June and seems primed to go.

looks good but is it a long term hold?

I think that's a fair question. I'm going to LTH at least 25-50% of my position.

Yes because it continues to grow. It's not a one trick pony. It has real projects being built on the Asset Chain, but differentiating it from Waves, NXT, etc by running it on a completely different blockchain from the Komodo coin. Thus, Komodo's side of business is seperated from it's derivatives. Developers would love this kind of freedom and seperation that other platforms don't provide.

GeckoChains is the smart contract side of things. Think ETH, UBQ, NEO, etc.

They've recently taken to bitcointalk to expand their marketing. Good stuff ahead in the long term.

The backordered batch of nano ledgers are supposed to ship this Tuesday. For some reason this coin has wallet storage on it. (No staking though). Hopefully more people are made aware of the Komodo platform.

AFAIK Komodo does not utilize PoS, but rather gives interest at 5%. Much more efficient since you don't need your computer on all day.

What is the absolute purpose of this blockchain? To allow developers to collaborate? What is the point of that

Komodo uses a delayed proof of work (DPOW) algo.

https://komodoplatform.com/downloads/Komodo_dPoW_Whitepaper_v1.pdf

"This system is called Delayed Proof of Work (dPoW) and is achieved by notarizing blocks
created in the initial blockchain on the Bitcoin blockchain, ensuring that once the information is
engraved on the Bitcoin blockchain, it would be required both blockchains in question to be
compromised."

"Delayed Proof of Work is a solution that utilizes multiple existing methods into a single
hybrid consensus system that at the same time is as energy efficient as PoS while being secured
by bitcoin PoW. Thus dPoW allows even the weakest of blockchains to benefit from bitcoin's
hashrate and this in turn makes Bitcoin's power usage much more eco-friendly as it is securing
the entire ecosystem of dPoW in addition to itself."

For developers: fast track the nuances of creating a blockchain from the ground up and create alongside an established brand

For investors: accrue interest on KMD, speculate on price and utilize the various technologies such as JUMBLR, BarterDEX, CHIPS, etc

For traders: speculate on KMD's price

For users: privacy coin and smart contracts

So its a generic piece of shit?

Name a coin that's similar? It has all the best features of Bitcoin, ZCash, Monero, Ethereum, Blocknet, while paying interest.

If anything, it's completely dissimilar to any coin on the market.

this. Komodo does everything but nothing properly. Big plans and never delivers.
