2821792 No.2821792 [Reply] [Original]

My dad's a state attorney and my mom works for a large financial bank. They told me yesterday that I need to pull my funds out of crypto by the end of the year. State & Federal regulations are in the works to make buying/selling crypto harder to do in the United States.

1. Banks will no longer allow users to buy crypto from known exchanges or allow deposits/transfers into your account from known exchanges starting January 1st.

2. Banks can close your account if they find out you bought or deposited money from crypto exchanges.

This. If true, the price of all crypto would skyrocket. Also, the major networks would not be listing bitcoin as a commodity, there would be radio silence.
Coinbase probably would not have all the bank APIs that they do if the banking cabal was trying to drive it out.
>>2822014
Some banks have made their API available to Coinbase already. That seems like a tacit acceptance. Too many people are using it every day for it be some underground hipster shit anymore.
>>2822030
That was back when the trading sites did not comply with banking ID regulations, now everything is very strict and you don't hear about it as much. The banks see the money to be had and some of them are cooperating. Most of the people who get popped now are moving too much money around and breaking other rules.

you can't ban crpyto but you can ban transfers from exchanges. Sites like localbitcoins would in effect also become illegal. And so far, you can't pay your bills with buttcoins or go grocery shopping so you still need that fiat hit

No it doesn't, retard. Do you even have any idea what you're talking about, huh? This is not beer or guns or drugs, this is BLOCK CHAIN. The supply of coins remains the same as it was, it's all fucking decentralized, they can't confiscate it. If you don't think it is bankers who are behind all the exchanges, including coinbase, you are deluded. In the last year or so, every single outlet has tightened up their operation to be in compliance. If you stay inside the banks hidden rule book about how much risk you are exposing the bank to, you have nothing to worry about. People who constantly empty their account and do risky trading shit will get their account crypto or not.
The news networks have already legitimized it as an investment. There is too much traction to go back now.

Good.

Crypto is a ponzi plus insecure fraud. It should be regulated more heavily than penny stocks and PayDay loans for preying on dumb, innocent people.

Ethereum is a Russian contrivance too.

I hope it's banned and the IRS throws the book at anyone with so much as a single transaction on an exchange. This is literally worse than online gambling and there is no argument whatsoever it shouldn't also be banned by Congress.
