Coinmetro dropped a hint in Telegram about adding Chainlink staking to the exchange.
Will probably not be real staking, but similar to the QNT staking: https://coin-metro.com/blog/quant-staking-is-live-on-coinmetro/

As far as I understand staking Link isn't yet possible? So this might be might be good for both Link and CoinMetro user base.

>6 link
the interest you gain in a year from those won't cover the transaction cost to move them

I know he likes to joke about his beard and stuff, but I don't think he knows where those jokes like the virgin vs the chad come from.
Dunno if they're still that fun or if hes sometimes like wtf

nope, Jewbase makes you pay gas fees for ERC20 tokens, you can swap to XLM or XRP for 0 fees but there's not much liquidity on CoinMetro to get back you LINK at the same price

Celsius network is superior for staking your LINKs.
Get payed weekly and they are actually partnered with Chainlink.

What's the catch?
Lending to third parties?
Risk of not getting it back?

I also googled them and one of the first reviews doubts their lending.
Not sure if shady is too harsh but I'd prefer a company being honest about what they're doing with my assets.

The word on the street is that the CEO of this exchange pumped his own coin so that he can shave his beard because of some stupid bet. I would stay very far away from this fucking bunch of amateurs playing company.

Celsius is okay, same for BlockFi, you can just follow what they do with your funds on etherscan, mine have been sitting in on the same wallet for the whole time (3 months).

explain the custody stuff to me, how do all these platforms give 5or10% on staking, they loan the money to who exactly? and how are the rates so high? and what happens if crypto crashes, wont they go insolvent?
