Sweden is considering going digital. Riksbanken is looking into creating its own shitcoin, as less than 1% of our population uses cash.
I consider this equally good and bad, as all the gangs and mafias here have to use physical currency to be able to buy or sell. If we digitize then those faggots get fucked and finally leave back to their shithole countries.
The bad thing about this is less freedumbs but who cares anyways as its illegal to pay for anything in cash if its greater than $1000.

>Multiple Houston stores being remodeled for new tests. Houston leading USA in new home sales. What's a better place to buy home goods and misc.

Right now the major issues I see are a lack of employees, messy stores, fulfillment times and shitty inventory management. Alot of issues I hear from employees are not being able to find something in stock when their inventory says they have it. It's probably due to shrinkage due to thefts, shitty trackage, etc. But if the remodels go to plan, it sounds like they'll be able to solve it. Also they have a lawsuit for fucking with 2019 Q3-Q4 earnings I believe.

Otherwise I see BBBY set to 2x or so. Baby wants to cum HARD.

Well, right, that's why there are literally thousands of dead shitcoin projects. With cryptocurrencies, the codebase and transaction rules are really easily changed if there's, like, one guy on a laptop doing all the calculations.

But as the networks scale up, the calculations for the next block get more difficult and, hence, secure. Basically you need 50+% of all computers working on the network to pull off any fuckery. For major projects like BTC, that's a huge hurdle to clear so transactions with those tokens can pretty reliably go through.

Are we seeing the beginning of the end of big tech??

> The real coordinated inauthentic behavior on social media made itself abundantly clear in the aftermath of the assault on Congress. The culprit isn’t a troll farm or Russian influence. This time, the coordinated inauthentic behavior is coming from California.

> Late last week, Google and Apple both suspended Parler—the social media platform of choice for the alt-right—and demanded a “moderation improvement plan” from Parler. Amazon, as of midnight, also suspended Parler from its web hosting services, citing “inadequate content-moderation practices.” Okta, an identity management software company in San Francisco, was notified that Parler had a free trial of its product and subsequently rushed to terminate access.

There's a lot of incentives *not* to abandon the network en masse for another one, but there certainly have been forks. People split off to mine Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Satoshi's Vision, and a thousand other different versions of the core Bitcoin code.

Basing it somehow on real metal introduces a lot of vulernability: silver schizos can talk all day about JP Morgan manipulating vaults, goldbugs will talk your ear off about Executive Order 6102, not to mention hauling and verifying the stuff everywhere.

A bunch of cleverly computed numbers are pretty much the best alternative we currently have. If it makes you feel better, some folks model it as electricity arbitrage. If some hydroelectric power plan in Siberia or whatever has a bunch of cheap, otherwise unused power, some miners there can effectively shunt BTC computation over from expensive fossil fuel based areas.

I worked for BBBY for almost a year about 10 years ago. It was my first job... I would recommend investing in them based on my experience. They have a dedicated shopper base, registries all day, they treat their employees decently even though there's a high turnover due to high school kids, and the 20% coupon cult is real. Their return policy was insanely good 10 years ago, but they have changed it since. This is a company that cannot die and will only grow imo.

>How does killing smaller competition hurt big tech?
Anti competitive practices and antitrust. When they do these near simultaneous actions all directed at the same target competition, it treads very thin ice. Big tech feel emboldened to do this as they think they have the democrats and their new majority administration bought and paid for. It's a dicey alliance as the democrats think THEY have big tech bought and paid for. Eventually one of the two is going to slice too far in to the other's pie and it'll come to blows.

See FTC site on anticompetitive practices law, "horizontal conduct" section:
>It is illegal for businesses to act together in ways that can limit competition, lead to higher prices, or hinder other businesses from entering the market. The FTC challenges unreasonable horizontal restraints of trade. Such agreements may be considered unreasonable when competitors interact to such a degree that they are no longer acting independently, or when collaborating gives competitors the ability to wield market power together. Certain acts are considered so harmful to competition that they are almost always illegal.

I'm actually the saltiest bear in existence. I'm soooooo close to losing 20% of my portfolio in UVXY calls, I expected minimum a 2% sell off today on the S&P. Literally every single metric of a total market euphoric blow off top is the highest it's ever been right now, 10 year is the steepest it's been since 2018, dollar literally had the most shallow bottom of all time, defaults have skyrocketed past what the fed can reasonably paper over, yields are at all time lows, optimism is at extremes, nobody is holding cash. Like this is a market top for the fucking ages and it should've burst this week honestly. Even major market players who have denied there is an equity bubble for the past 2 years have started admitting the market "looks bubblish", but everybody is too afraid to short because they see nothing but good news on the horizon which has unironically been a catalyst in and of itself in past bubbles. TSLA lost a lot today which makes sense, and I expect this dip to be bought and keep dipping, but the broad market isn't moving. Very confusing.

Doing what I said should help and at least slow the process of tooth decay. Any weakened or softened enamel can be remineralized and it will actually be stronger than it was before, you just can't regrow lost enamel. If you dentin is showing, the yellow layer under the enamel, it will be harder to fight but it's still possible and worth doing anyway.

You only get one set of adult teeth, take care of them.

The only big tech that will survive all this is APPLE.

They make coomsumer electronics and have little exposure to public media.

Their products are the best in the world and besides the stigma of being the world largest company hence inherently bad ( as dictated by the NPC's) they have managed to be relatively scandal free.

FB, GOOG, TWTR, NFLX AMZN are all hated companies for a multitude of reasons. Be it the CEO, Privacy issues, workers rights or pedo shit.

Apple has great management, solid products, great margins and good vision. Parking you cash in Apple is like parking your cash in an ETF with better returns

MSFT is being slept on significant IMO. It lacks the same image apple has sadly.

Still its a great stock and the managment has really impressed me over the last few years. Willing to take amazing risks and they are paying off.

THe gaming divisionn and cloud computing service is going to be huge.

They are the company with the most diversified income stream of all the tech giants.

Saying that I sold my MSFT and NVDA and went with diagonals on TSM.

TSM I think is the workhorse of tech that is ignored. Look at the movements of the SP over the last few weeks, people are starting to wake up to it.
