I'm hearing a lot of shady things going on at Celsius. They were recently hacked and tried to cover the tracks with a "DNS went down" excuse. Nobody is buying that of course.
Now they are under-leveraged and a small (10%) BTC correction can push them over the edge into full blown insolvency. Withdrawals are limited (most users need to wait 1 day for withdrawal, others are asked to prove their identity and address, others have the interest kept to "cover insurance" when they try to withdraw).
If you have money in Celsius you should consider getting it out while you still can. This reminds me of the days before Bitconnect blew up in 2017 which is the exact same business model as Celsius.

No it won't. This scam is irrelevant. Crypto.com is Bitconnect

Honestly Celsius is way bigger than I thought. I dont check coin rankings much these days. I figured it was worth $50-100M max. It's not that far from Crypto.com in marketcap

The thing about these scams is that they work as long as number go up, which means that they have possibly another year of growth before the cycle ends and SHTF.

I don't have time to research for you faggot, just look at the archive on this site or the celsiusnetwork reddit (btw heavily censored). There are doeznes of users complaining about this shady stuff. Funds frozen, "DNS issues", TOS giving them the right to take your coins, their "assets" including fake CEL tokens that they mint themselves, etc.

If you want to lose your money put it in Celsius Network or the CEL token.

Celsius is blowing up... Americans are fcn screwed, iirc... I you want to but CEL token you have to go through uni swap... but I am about to dropped 125k in ETH to get 5.5% interest. Then ill drop my link and BTC and aquire more interest. Ill be getting 3k to 4k a month in interest alone by the end of the year.

What better way to sow doubt and mistrust into competitors projects that you want to fail than to troll their social media/Reddit? There are other places that are trying to do what Celsius does, and with Alex being rather openly brazen on twitter on his competitors failures I’m sure he’s made a few enemies. Some people troll here because they’re paid pennies, but I don’t think it’s very many. I think the more likely case is that some people just don’t have the stones to leave their money in another, newer exchange and take advantage of these APY rates. The more days that go by where this continues to be a legit business and their customers earn their rates, the more these people fume. Once FOMO takes over they’ll resort to just trolling these boards to try and sow doubt. The reasoning is simple - if they could have invested in Celsius a year ago and choose not to because they were afraid (which, again, I understand why - not your keys not your crypto), then that’s a full year that they’ve missed out on hundreds if not thousands of free money.

Blockfi vs Celsius which one is safer and which one should I go with? Have 440k in crypto and wanna get some cash flow

>> No.24164913

I tried all the different platforms with small amounts around 1.5 years ago. Any platform that tries to lock you in or is slow to withdraw from I stopped using. I've been training my ponzi detector since 2013 and called many ponzi tops.
Celsius will be a kind of world central bank that services client banks. You can earn interests on the money you store in bitfinex right now, tomorrow you can earn on the money you deposit in your local bank again but they'll be making that through Celsius or similar service companies.
As DeFI grows us nerds will probably be better served by that directly but most normies need a service to handle everything. The CEL token will just continue to rise even as nerds move their money to uniswap 5.0.

Blockfi locked me in for a week and they're losing money.
Staking ETH seems good right now but staking tends to return less than the token depreciates. When a shitcoin like LPT says it returns 20% APY it's probably more like -3% in USD or -30% in BTC. I tried a bunch of them over the years to test and not a single one was a reliable source of income. Uniswap LPs are like a utopian dream since you retain full ownership but still get an income.

BlockFi is the safest. Fully audited. Celsius is a ponzi scheme that will blow up in the next bitcoin correction. Screencap this and DYOR, this is my last reply here.
