This is only true if you're a swing trader, a gambler, just in general don't have a clue about the project and if you aren't taking advantage of the ridiculous staking gains. You probably don't even understand just how undervalued LIT is right now. "Buy the rumour, sell the news" is good trading advice, not good investment advice.

This might sound a bit weird but it is actually true. I went to highschool with Richard, the CEO, and he always used to tell me stories about his grandpa. What he told me is that his grandpa was a waffen SS officer, can't remember which rank exactly, but he was pretty high up there. He always talked about it like he was really proud of it. He once told this story about him going into his grandpa's basement and finding some old uniforms, he asked his grandpa if he could have one of them, his grandpa said it was a bit big for him but that he could take it home. Then the day after he got it he wore it to school.

Do with this info what you want, but I would be cautious. I'm posting this with a throwaway because I know what Richard is capable of.

I saw Richard at a grocery store in Berlin yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

I can confirm. The most comfy way to drink in Germany is to find a quiet biergarten in small towns. They usually have tasty food and great drinks. Crowds are almost always way less fun than shooting the shit with 5 people at a table. Picking a small town to drink in is great because you can wander around the empty streets in the evening/night, many of which are full of historical buildings and monuments. I said in other threads that I want to do a meetup in Germany if we make it and I am sticking to that promise. I sorta want to start a discord for the OG LIT holders so we know who's who when the time comes. Maybe a telegram would be more appropriate.

Good morning
Funny isn't it?
Funny isn't it?
Isn't it funny
When I came here 17 weeks ago and said I wanted to lead a campaign to help /Biz/ invest in the future blockchain of the European Union, you all laughed at me
Well I have to say, you're not laughing now are you?
And the reason you're so upset, the reason you're so angry has been personally clear from all the Fudding exchanges this morning
You as a Shit Coin holder are in denial
You're in denial that your Crypto Currency is failing
You're in denial...
>[Indian Austistic Screeching]
Well, just look at AMPL... no no no, as a ponzi scheme to impose poverty across /biz/ and the rest of the Crpto Community you've done very well
And you're in denial that the FUD plastered all over this board to convince as many people as possible to sell their coins has led to massive divisions between legitimate projects across the whole entire board
But the biggest problem you've got
And the reason, the main reason Lition holders invested the way that they did, is that you have by stealth, by deception
Without ever telling the truth to the /LITGEN/ community or the rest of the people's of /Biz/
You have imposed a curry smelling shilling union
Now I know that virtually none of you have ever done a proper job in your lives, or worked in business, or worked in trade
Or indeed ever pooed in the loo
But listen..just listen
If you were to decide to cut off your noses to spite your faces and reject any idea of a sensible Lition investment
The consequences would be far worse for you then it would be for us.

This tells me everything that I need to know. Memes only matter if all you care about is fooling normies into FOMOing in and increasing the short term and speculative price. What is required to make a project sustainably successful is cold hard utility and nothing else. The community is completely irrelevant to the success of Lition.

Care to elaborate a bit on why you think so?
I'm following both projects quite closely and while I do agree that LIT has much more room to grow, it has no chance to even come close to LINK in terms of market cap. Chainlink has huge potential to disrupt multiple industries and there aren't many projects in this space that can come close in terms of the huge scope that LINK is covering. I think LIT is a lot more niche in comparison (and I get it, it's not just an energy token).

Entreprise layer 2 solution blockchains gpdr compliants has less buzzwords but will actually be used. Usage, revenue, valuation, crypto-space will mature and lots of investments will be made based around those new valuation models/ "node rewards" returns.

You're assuming that 1) The market is rational and full of intelligent people 2) You could make literally that exact same argument towards Chainlink 2 years ago 3) You're assuming that people here who see the value in LIT got there because of intelligence and not because of luck.

The reason why LIT has been extremely cheap for so long is because their mainnet has been broken for a year and LIT is incredibly difficult for the average crypto normie to buy in.

ETH may potentially be worth half what BTC is someday, but BTC has the luxury of being the first of its kind. That in and of itself will keep it's speculative price above the rest for a long time.

Long term though as crypto starts to shake the stigma of just being "magic internet money" LIT has a real chance of being the one that breaks that barrier with the fact Lition is an actual multimillion dollar company already using the block chain to further give customers and investors real world options. I'm not saying it's going to flip BTC, but history will definitely look back and see what major milestones pushed the crypto economy, and LIT will be one of, if not THE one, that proved it had a real world use case and not just another part of the crypto casino.

And good evening from burger land, LITGEN

I also feel this. The reality is that the market is due for a major pump on november 4th, so this will probably be the next GBR. If you look at 2013 and 2017 both coincide with the election ending and the DOW stabilizing, leading to US investors putting money into crypto. This will be similar. Lition will rise as BTC rises.

My post from yesterday:

this team have no track record of baseless hyping and it would be very uncharacteristic of them to hype these upcoming announcements in they way that they have if the what will be revealed will fall short of how they described it.

>In the next two weeks "very, very special unique news" will be announced for something that has never been done before in the "blockchain sphere". This will be announced with Lition's partners and will include a redesign of the Lition website.

this is very bullish talk. If the announcement turns out to be disappointing and indeed not as described, this will be very bad for lition. i would anticipate a lot of lost confidence and momentum.

I believe the upcoming announcements determine the entire future of this project(of which i am heavily invested in, make no mistake). If the announcements are as bullish as they claim, our ascension into the top 10 can officially begin. It will certainly be aided by a genuine 'major' exchange listing, as they have described. If this exchange listing turns out not to be 'major', once again this will be a poor reflection on the team. Richard already expressed in the AMA that 'market liquidity' is a top priority for Lition, now that the mainnet is active and functional.

The huge potential of this project is available for any and all to see. It is known and established. But it's the men behind idea's that count. I am betting on the character of Richard and the Lition team. I hope they dont let us down.
