They don't know. It's only us.If you consider how a buying decision is made, it is one of two: FOMO from hype, such as DeFi and shitty food-tokens enjoyed. Or actually take a look at a project of interest, ask questions and dig a little to see what this actually is and what purpose it serves.

I'd imagine for people outside the EU, the GDPR-compliance don't really tell them anything. We also have to consider that most people don't know more than a little about blockchain and the current struggles it has towards the road to adoption.Even on Biz. Most people here just chase pumps, hype and FOMO. Long-term investors in crypto make killings with good picks. When I tell my friends about LITION, I say it is a betting tip to a football game no one even knows is being played. And here you are with the most perfect information. NO ONE KNOWS. They have to actually do work, think and be at the right place at the right time to be part of this. We are lucky, so, so lucky. I got a few mini-stacks for my friends, so they dont rope themselves when I make it big. It's sad to be rich but with no one to share it with.

We are at a fork in the road where valuations don't get made into the billions on hype and promise anymore. We had that in the last run. Ironically, this space is becoming more and more legit compared to the actual stockmarked where P/E have gone out of the window, and people cling to anything that might be a nice store of value for the next 10 years.

We also see the massive FOMO in the green-stocks which probably won't give a ROI for decades to come.

Meanwhile, we sit in this space, and probably have been here for a while. To actually end up with a bag of this project, there had to be some very strange circumstances.

If Lition had been known, and a traded stock that people had access to, it would be mooning now at probably 50x current price. It checks all the marks for the normies as well. It's going to be huge when it's known. SAP + Binance = Moon

This is the silence before the storm!

Not sure moonmission will be for this or next year but i don’t really care about the price.. i care more about the amount of tx’s they are going to have.. i just want to live on the staking gains. Price doesn’t really matter for that. That’s why i love lition as well, there’s 2 ways of making it with lit. Or price moons and i’m set for life, or staking gains are so good that i’m good anyway

>> No.22981458

>>22981426
One will lead to the other. Good staking gains? People will gobble up coins to profit from that as well which in turn raises the price. Number or transactions will pretty much guarantee a steady price increase, and then there's speculation which will boost it.

People overestimate the average intelligence of this board. I remember a couple months ago there was a larp thread where the OP claimed to have found an old HD with an unholy amount of BTC on it and decided to give generously to anyone who replied with their BTC addresses, because he was a billionaire and all. There were so many replies begging for hand outs, perhaps bordering 100 addresses. I always remember this when i visit this board. Those are the same people (You) get investment advice from. Legit double digit IQ people who have no rational thought.

So with that in mind is it any surprise how no one outside of these threads can grasp what Lition actually is? Let alone understand GDPR compliance. Hell, at most they think LIT is an energy company.

People on this board only care about "The next 100x". So they get told it's a food token called Yam or Tirimasu or what ever and then act shellshocked when they get rug pulled.

The smart investor doesn't chase pump and dumps, they find legitimate and regulated companies based in first world countries that solve a problem. One day the crypto market will evolve from pure speculation and mature to where the real projects that function in the real world will prosper, and Lition has all of the fundamentals to be just that.

Depends how long you hold desu. 10 dollars a LIT is around 600 million market cap. At that point a 100k stack has made it by Biz standards. In a peak bullrun, with nice conditions and FOMO, we will see 5-6 billion. So around 80-100 dollars.

I like to be conservative however and bought my stack to be content at 1-2 dollars, comfy at 4-5, and make it at 10++. Everything above a billion (17-20 dollars) in cap is enough to retire. "fuck you" money is at 50 dollars ++.

this 2 dudes are the culprit for the dump today, the funny thing they sold everything in idex at much lower price than uniswap lmao, they didn't even use their brains and sell at a higher price in uniswap

>mike why aren't saying this is the team selling
because you piece of shit don't have a brain, if you could properly use etherscan and follow where the shition come from from this 2 addresses you will find that they bought this tokens from idex 64 days ago for the first address and recently for the second address, they bought shition with real ethereum and didn't magically get shition from a pool address with the "litsentbymistake" function that only the Richtard can call
we're getting rid of weak hands early, this is good news for shition when we hear some bullish news at ama

also can someone ask richtard why did he lie so many times in the past? like when he said we will make otc deals with early investors, like when he say there is many investors when in reality there is only one person controlling all those addresses, and about "litsentbymike"

the most important and bullish thing about lition and that brainlets ignore or don't even know about is that lition blockchain didn't built their mainnet and are waiting for costumers to use it like how all the other shitions do which will eventually fail as a strategy because of 1-crypto is still in the speculative phase, 2-there is still no demand from real world costumers, 3-blockchain technology is still to early for mass adoption, 4-devs will run out of money before they even get their first paying client (most of 2017 ico devs declared bankruptcy cuz they don't have any more money or intensive to keep developing a useless blockchain)

shition in the other hand has developed and launched their mainnet to use it for their own energy sidechain and the other many upcoming sidechains they will announce in the coming weeks, so it profitable to them from the start and also anyone can use their blockchain solution but with a fee if it is a "for profit" usecase

our future is too bright and bullish my shition frens, we all gonna make it

Staking incentives with huge interest rates for a system which provides no value is exactly how the defi ecosystem works though. You can put any number of buzzwords on top and you have the same product.

Because no value is created, the only way the system can provide money to early investors is with tokens. The only way for the tokens to have value is by being transactable for other coins with value like btc/eth/etc. And the only way for that to occur is to actually have a constant source of new buyers. When that stops, the house of cards collapses. It is a ponzi.

Still looking into the power dapp but it seems like it basically provides energy credits on the german power exchange network, which is done more efficiently and effectively by calling your power company and asking for their green energy package.

Please put your tokens up on a defi platform where I can short it. Thanks.

Interest rates are so high now because of the genesis phase. After that the interest rate will change depending on the number of transactions on the chain. The more the chain is used, the more transactions, the higher the interest rate. If nobody is going to use lition, staking rewards will be zero, if "alot" of companies use lition then rewards will be higher. Tell me how that is a ponzi?

>>23027082
I understand this. But every other defi shitcoin offers the same thing, and the problem is the same. Once people stop buying lition to stake, lition sees less demand but more are being given out, and the house of cards collapses.

>> No.23027349

>>23027002

No they aren't you can transact as much as you'd like. They just gave an example of how they will likely run the usecase for their customers.
The energy customers dont know about the blockchain, this is all behind their user interface and Lition Energie AG (the sister company of the blockchain business) decides how many transactions they will have to make to give a good service.

>Staking incentives with huge interest rates for a system which provides no value

An actual discussion with someone who read the whitepaper. Very good anon, I like it. You did cherrypick though, lit tokens aren't only used for staking. Tokens are also necessary to launch sidechains by the companies who want to work on Lition and the token will be used as a payment token. This means will guarantee, if adopted, a constant demand.

Sure, but see above. This is a bet on an ETH killer. There are plenty of sidechains to compete with. Rollups are the forefront because they don't require a token or a chain at all and are extremely cheap. I know sidechains are amazing, but from the paper it appears Lition's is already outdated. something like xdai can do the same job for a lot less.
Thanks for not getting emotional though.

>>23027555
I can buy a $4 plug-in device for my wall which buys green credits for my power usage, and my landlord can do the same for the building. In fact I can just buy credits online, right now. But even if the tech gets there and the energy dapp usecase becomes economically viable (which it will be in 5 or so years, I agree with you) there is no need to run it on LITs sidechain when any other sidechain could be equally good or better, and a rollup might even be able to do the same job.

>> No.23027634

>>23027469
I also foresee that the companies of the dapps will buy a number of tokens to stake on their own sidechain to make it more secure.

It would not be logical that say lition energie does reach 250k households in two years, transacting 250 Million euro over the network, being crucial to a company that maybe profits 25 million per year
And only about 30 million tokens stake with a total value of 4 million USD. Wouldn't the company then not try to buy up tokens so they can secure their sidechain?

>the LIT sidechain will provide value instead in that case (literally betting AGAINST ethereum)
Uhmmm... literally WHAT?

>This is a bet on an ETH killer.
Last I checked ethereum did not provide deletable data features and therefore any dApp running on it was not GDPR compliant.

>> No.23027964

>>23027603
About the other sidechains (you mean 2nd layer solutions right?) you're right that there are other ones. There's one big thing Lition has which the other ones don't have and it will make all the difference. Basically, if you read tge news last week you'll know what's coming: regulations. Lition is legally compliant and works with the government and other blockchain lobby groups to stay compliant. Lition is GDPR compliant and blockchain agnostic. Ethereum is trying to be GDPR compliant with Baseline but they aren't there yet. And when they are, it's just ethereum. All other public blockchains can adopt Lition to be compliant so enterprises can do business in Europe or any other country with a similar law as the GDPR law. And no, zk snarks aren't enough. Certain information needs to be deleted according to the law when the customer leaves the network or asks for it, zk snarks only hide it. Even ethereum stated that the future lies with 2nd layer solutions.

About the comment about the green credits. Sounds cool, but please read the whitepaper. With a blockchain p2p energymarket you can guarantee the origin of the green energy (very important because energy suppliers have been selling grey energy as green energy and they sold the same certificate multiple times) and consumers turn into prosumers where they can sell their own energy and choose where they get it from. With your wall socket I don't know where it's from and it's expensive because there's a middleman involved.
