They're difficult to compare imo, but LINK is a great case study for small mcap tokens becoming dominant in an already established crypto space. LINK's usecase is entirely contained within cryptocurrency. LIT is specifically designed to provide real-world solutions to people who have no idea how the blockchain works. LIT can be used by normies paying for energy or by already established companies storing medical, insurance, or financial information. Imo LIT has more potential than chainlink when it comes to mcap because the growth of the token is dictated by the growth/adoption of/by various other businesses. If Lition energy breaks into the mainstream and becomes a dominant energy distributor (which I believe may occur, especially since Germany already has it's eye on Lition energy and will likely promote it in the future) in multiple European countries, you can expect to make it almost regardless of how much LIT you hold right now. I have never really looked into houses because I'm a poorfag, but based on random input it's pretty expensive. Houses are supposedly about ~500k. I've personally seen some for 200k-300k in more rural places, but yah... There are some smoll towns in which renting an apartment in the ghetto costs like 300-400 bucks including water etc. I definitely do know that newly built apartments even in places neighbouring these 300-400 bucks rental ghettos are ~200k-300k to buy.

Staking roughly means you're locking your tokens (you still own thel but they can't be sold or moved to a wallet) in a common pool to help in validating the transactions happening on the chain. Since you loan your tokens for this process, allowing the chain to function properly and swiftly, you are rewarded with a fraction of the costs of the transactions you're helping to validate. Which is why when you stake some LIT, you passively earned money in the form of new LIT which are not mined (the total supply stays the same) but bought on the market by the Lition company and fairly distributed among all stakers according to how many tokens they've locked.
