the general idea is, with volume and volatility finaly coming into btc, as well as altseason concluding, it is save to say: btc pumps, alts dump. btc dumps, alts dump even more (as has always been in these conditions). so i opened up a $500k btc long and a $500k shitcoin short and am already up $70k in a day.
my main objective now is to not close that stuff too early like i always do. there's more profits to be made. even a huge dump would be good for me now

i didn't risk anything in the conventional way. usually, your risk int rading is defined by position size and stop loss. since was 100% hedged and the trade was agnostic into both directions so to speak, i didn't have a stop loss into any direction. i needed btc to either pump or dump in order to make profits. the only thing that would have cause me to lose money would have been btc stagnating at my entry price and shitcoins pumping at the same time, which would have caused me to cut my losses eventually

Thank you for answering. I started a few years ago with like 150€. Most of it is already in BTC (with such a little amount I can't diversify too much).

Of course, I am only investing what I can afford to lose, but I've already experienced what it feels like to win, lose, and all the torrent of emotions it implies. I've already accepted that I shouldn't be emotional about money, and I only invest in what projects I've studied previously.
