Lition (LIT) is a private/public hybrid layer 2 blockchain which enables users and businesses to create sidechains for the Ethereum network. It was created as a cooperation between Lition and SAP. A Proof of Stake mechanism is used to secure the chain.
The first live usecase is the energy marketplace, where consumers can buy renewable energy directly from the producer in the region.
Partner for future usecases are Volksbanken/Raiffeisenbanken to issue STOs/loans.
